| pee pads Hello Yorkie People. I am still new here and my question today is, How do you feel about pee pads? I have a female yorkie who uses them and I have to say I think the pads are the greatest thing. She uses them everytime to potty. I just role it up after she uses it and out to the trash it goes. I am not a lazy owner believe me, this little booger is fast as lightning when I take her outside and I am afraid she will get hit by a car. I am just now working with her on leash training and she doesnt like it very well at all. But back to the pee pads many people think its wrong to use them because it tells the dog its ok to go in the house, but my little girl only goes on the pad. So I am one who loves the pad Amy |

| We needed to be sure that ours wouldl use the pad because we spend a lot of time on the boat anchored out in the middle of no where. We wanted to be sure that we could have a way for him to go potty. He is really good with going outside also so we've been lucky and got the best of both worlds! My husband took him out at about 4 1/2 mos and he decided he needed to do his stuff and that was that!

| Welcome to YT!! and we love puppy pads here!! with Cricket, my first Yorkie, I got the litter box and trained her to that no problem,, but she would never stop eating the litter!,, so its pads in the litter box,, til we added another and another Yorkie,,lol,, with the second Yorkie being too big for the litter box! so its now just pads on the floor and we also have PiPiDolly potty,, but i might add,,I've recently gone to Washable Potty Pads,,, (Going Green here as much as i can),, just received my second order of 4 pads from a YT-ers here who sells nice ones,, saves a lot over paper pads and they work great!! no leaks,, no shredding of paper,, again,, Welcome!

| We use pee pads as well with Kiki. She only goes on her pee pad and never on the floor. It is so easy in a way like others have mentioned, not going out in the rain or snow or cold weather. The only problem we have is Kiki is so trained to her pee pad spot that she will not go outside at all and will not use a pad if I bring it out with us to anyone else's house. She will just hold it until we get home. I really want to train her to go out and use the pad as well. Anna www.dogster.com/dogs/511397 |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have 1 that only uses the pee pads and one who just didn't get the whole concept she would use them sometimes and other times go where she wanted. Eventually she decided she liked going outside only like my pom so she now is trained to go outside and will not use the pads at all. My puppy is training to the pads but I am hoping she will use both once the weather is better.
