| I'm looking into it also. I have bad anxiety and depression so bad and my anxiety is keeping me from getting a job, I live with my grandparents and my anxiety was so bad I was unable to drive the car by myself that was bought for me the 30 mintues to my moms house but now that I have Callie she gives me strength to do things I can almost drive anywhere with her in her carseat next to me and I think I could try going other places if I had her with me I donno it might sound silly to other people.

There are websites where you can order cards and harnesses that identify your dog as a service dog also.

| Wobie is a service animal, but he is not certified, because I don't feel the need to put us through a stressful training program. Also, the programs that train service animals for psychological disabilities are quite limited, and we'd have to go out of state. A service dog must be specifically trained to perform a service to assist its handler with his or her disability. Wobie is trained to alert me to an oncoming panic attack, bring me medication, and intercept compulsive behaviors. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to justify the need for a service dog based on companionship and therapy alone. What services could the yorkie perform for your daughter? Let me know if you have any other questions about service animals. I've done a lot of research...I definitely wish you good luck!

I have sever anxiety disorders and OCD. I freak if I dont have my babies with me (other than work, because I can control it) and my Psychologist actually wrote me a 'prescription' to be allowed to take them with me anywhere I need to. It is a BIG help to have them with me.

| Service Dog Have researched: How/Who qualifies for Service Dog, and have information of agency that can also advice and give critera, if anyone is in need of assistance. I have noticed several YT members want to just take their Yorkies everywhere, however, please be careful,as there are Govt. regulations that can impose penalties for misrepresenting you are: approved for Service Dogs.

| Rocky came trained!!! At 10 weeks, he already knew how to make me laugh, feel good, rush home, cook for both of us, comfort me, go for walks more often and gave me peace of mind everytime. Passed many a good advice and does so to this day!! He has a few "Best Doodle" awards already!!!!!! |

| We definitely should! With Wobie, a lot of it was instinctive because we are so close, and then I just tried to build on the behaviors he already displayed. He's not a year old yet (will be on Monday!), so he's still very full of puppy energy and not 100% reliable, but he's getting better every day!
