| Is she on meds at all? I would call your vet, as it may be a UTI or something.

| Was she kept overnight? I was thinking if a dog is kept in a cage/kennel they may need remedial training.

| If she's going a little and often it could well be a urinary tract infection - if she's not on antibiotics - definately give the vet a call. Or possibly she could still be in a bit of pain and doesn't want to go outside in the cold - I'm guessing you're in the northern hemisphere and in the grips of winter. Or if her pee pad is quite a way away or in the cold part of the house.

| surgery trauma? I don't know how long it takes females to heal, but after our little boy was neutered, the first two days he just went wherever. We think he was in pain. Maybe its the pain?? But, I would give the vet a call/go see him/her to make sure she doesn't have an infection as the others suggested. Does she eat well? If not, maybe she does have an infection. I hope the poor little girl feels well soon!!! Good luck!

| same here We got our boy Baloo neutered in early January, he was potty trained and 6 months old. Since then, he either doesn't go on the pad, or he has his back paws on, front paws off, and hits the edges and misses even though he thinks he's on it. Its very frustrating, I don't know how to fix it. |

| WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM !! It was the most frustrating thing and i actually also asked the same question on here and got the same responses that you got. Thankfully Chewy's test came back negative and about a week after surgety she just remembered wha the pads were there for. But i remember how frustrated i was having to re-train her after we just went through this a few months before. Hope everything works out for your baby. Get a urine sample just in case. |

| I know those first few days after I had Venus spayed, she'd forget what the pads were for. After about a week, she was back on track. |

| I did with Kizzy. I had to pretty much retrain her. It was like her muscles were to sore to hold it till she got to the door, so that might have been the problem cause it didnt take too long to get her going outside again. I hope she is still doing as good for Lynn as she was for us. But I do think sometimes their sore and dont want to even use the bathroom, maybe if they have to strain at all it probably hurts. But that is just my opinion. It didnt bother maggie that much but the surgery didnt seem to make her as sore as it did kizzy. And they both had just turned 6 months when I had it done. So I guess their all just different. good luck to you.

| holy cow!! I brought up this issue when Max got neutered 3 weeks ago. He was awful!! Then he got a bit better. Then this weekend again just peeing where ever he has to go. I do not know when this is going to end but I surely hope it ends soon. He even wets his crate when he NEVER EVER did before. I'm going to call the vet now Good luck |

| Poor Lulu . . . hope she does have a UTI so you know this is just temporary. Keep us posted! In the meantime, my furbabies are sending wet slurpy kisses to her. |
