| Peeing in crate Ok, I posted this a couple weeks ago and we are still having a problem! We have had Bella since the beginning of October. She is now 8 months old. My husband and I work 4 days a week, and I go home every day at lunch. We keep her in a big crate during the day while we are gone and she used to never have any accidents. I think before the beginning of January she only peed in there two times. Well now it is a daily thing. Ever since the beginning of the month she pees every day in the crate. It is always in the morning. We make sure she goes out to the bathroom right before we leave every day. I don't know what to do. I tried to spray out the entire floor of the crate with pet resolve so she can't smell it. I really don't want to put a pad in there b/c I really want her to hold it, and I know she can b/c we have never had this problem until now. Should I discipline her, even when I don't catch her doing it. She knows it is bad b/c every time I go and clean it up she hides. What do I do? I am really tired of washing her sheets and cleaning up pee every day! |

| Get a smaller crate and make sure she does not have urinary tract infection. Don't let her drink too much especially 1 hour before you put her in the crate. |

| Im going through the housebreaking woes also with 13 week Ginger. I pad the crate (its too big) with sheets and towels so she has limited movement. I only keep her in there for a few hours at a time now. About the water thing, Ill add this. I have rabbits I use for magic shows. Two hours before we are off to a show, I withdrawl the bunny's water. So far, my rabbit has never gone to the restroom while disappearing.

| Boo is kept in his crate once in a blue moon, but when he is in there he pees also. Its a small crate also. I think that he gets so pissed, he does this, because he will pee then push whatever he pee'd on to the back of the crate. Very smart little (insert 4 letter word here) LOL
