Peeing in crate
Ok, I posted this a couple weeks ago and we are still having a problem! We have had Bella since the beginning of October. She is now 8 months old. My husband and I work 4 days a week, and I go home every day at lunch. We keep her in a big crate during the day while we are gone and she used to never have any accidents. I think before the beginning of January she only peed in there two times. Well now it is a daily thing. Ever since the beginning of the month she pees every day in the crate. It is always in the morning. We make sure she goes out to the bathroom right before we leave every day. I don't know what to do. I tried to spray out the entire floor of the crate with pet resolve so she can't smell it. I really don't want to put a pad in there b/c I really want her to hold it, and I know she can b/c we have never had this problem until now. Should I discipline her, even when I don't catch her doing it. She knows it is bad b/c every time I go and clean it up she hides. What do I do? I am really tired of washing her sheets and cleaning up pee every day! |
