| Belly Band Help? Someone here suggested the bands to me on here and boy do I need to thank them! However, I think I may not be using them properly. I work at home, so after Gilbert goes out in the morn I usually put it on him so he can run around and play while I work. I still take frequent breaks and take him out but he has always peed in the band ( a Lot)! He holds it for 8-9 hours at night so I don't understand. Do I need set times that I take him out? Is is wrong to keep the band on him that much during the day.....help? |

| he's 9 mos, and I know that's old but he was peeing everywhere....I don't have it on all the time but it is a majority....I also have no experience in the children dept.... I have also tried the bells....I feel like I'm doing him in injustice but I just don't know what else to do....I'm also ashamed of myself b/c I know he needs more discipline as well...where do I start? |

| Also, when I do take him out, It's an act of Congress to get him to come to me to put his harness on. Sometimes we have to chase him and corner him behind the couch just to catch him. What can I do to correct this....I think Im a bad mommy..... |

| I am not sure about the belly band situation, but as far as having to chase him to take him out I wouldn't do it. He might think that you chasing him is a game, and continue to run. Try offering him a treat and calling him to you. Then get the harness out. Hope this helps. Potty training can be a real challenge, good luck!
