mean We have 2 yorkies. I have never had a puppy before. Our first yorkie was 8 months old when we found him.. I believe he was abused before.. he is terrified of men especially my husband. I am the only one he will let take him outside and he is real close and protective of me. He is such a good dog though. The ONLY problem we have with him is that he lifts his leg and pees in our house. We bought another yorkie about a month ago. My first puppy. She is so cute, but she is so mean. All she does is bite and growl. She bites us, and our older yorkie constantly. She also chases our cats. I know that she is just playing cause shes only 3 months old. But will she ever grow out of this?

I say that behavior is not acceptable even in a 3 month old puppy. Have you discussed this behavior with her breeder? Has it happened in other of her puppies? What position was she in the hierarchy of the litter? How old was she when she was taken from her mom who sets the family(doggy) standards..This behavior has lots of causes and the one that comes to mind right now is that she was not conditioned when you first brought her home. She has no boundaries and is like a child needing to be trained. Best to start a training program NOW cause this behavior will NOT be cute when your baby is 6-12 months old. Also, her training before she came to you is a big influence and will continue to be..Good luck! ou are to be commended for rescuing the other little baby..

She was 8 months when we took her from her mom. How do we train her and get her to stop?
