| Potty training? I have been potty training my 16 week old yorkie for a month and no success. I have been crate training her but its not working. I have limited her space and everything and she still uses the bathroom. I take her out every hour. I thought about puppy pads. Need help! I am also new to this site. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I would get the book " How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days" it is a great book helps with crate training and either going outside or potty pad training. Here is the schedule they use http://www.leecharleskelley.com/imag...sebreaking.pdf

| I made the pen smaller by putting a box and she still used the bathroom were she slept. I even put a little dog bed I'm there with her to make her comfortable. Maybe doing a schedule. will work. Probably could use a smaller crate. Anyone know a person that they are not using anymore? I do not jave any pet stores around me. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | Try reading my training techniques of potty training. You can find the link below in my signature. Hope it helps ! I would suggest getting a cage that she can grow into. One with a divider that you can adjust.

I used Dawn's training schedule and it has helped so much with Jasper. It takes a few days to really get into the routine of things. And keep with it...patience, I have learnt, is a huge part of potty training. Good luck!!

| The schedule thing is working and I have changed her crate to something smaller and she acts like she enjoys it now. Now when she sleeps, she slepps on her back with feet in the air. Scared me at first but then I saw her breathing lol. I will surely get a picture of her like that and put it on her! |

| Thanks for the potty training tips Dawn! I have a new baby (5 months) at my house and sometimes he just doesn't "get it" when it comes to training. We are working on it though. By the way, I grew up in Ohio and lived in Lima for 4 years as a child |

Wow imagine that, another former Lima Ohio resident here on YT. I grew up on W. Wayne St. and went to LCC, graduated in 1985.
