| My best advice is call a professional. Ask your Vet who would be best to help you with this. |

| talk to a professional dog trainer that can see her behavior first hand and help to address it. most dogs like this have issues stemming from fear or anxiety that lead them to react that way to people. she's defending herself by barking warnings to leave her space and then following up with the attacks. you will have to train her and yourself to work with her and also teach guests how to come calmly into the house and not be staring at her or confrontational to her. putting her on a leash/harness and teaching her to not attack the door will help. lots of praise and treats for backing away from the door and paying attention to you and not the guests. it's hard work and best done with a personal dog trainer. good luck |

| unfortunately, i have the same problem. my yorkie is almost 4 years old and has extreme agression & separation anxiety. barks like crazy at people that come in my apartment as well as anyone that is near her or in sight when we go outside. it's almost unbearable to take her outside on a walk or to go to the bathroom. as for the seperation anxiety, once i shut the door to leave she is barking and scratching at the door. i feel like a lot of the agression problem is due to how a little neighbor girl just terrorising her and the separation anxiety because i got her when i was in college and working so i was constantly in and out. i'm not so sure how i will deal with this for the next 10 or so years....
