| any way to make her stop peeing when she is excited? Miley is 10 months old and is doing ok at potty training. She almost always goes outside to pee or uses the pee pad if its raining or we don't take her out in time. Pooping is another issue because she hides and goes under the bed or in a corner somewhere. But my biggest issue is that every time we walk in the door she pees wherever she is. It's worse when we bend down to pet her. We've tried ignoring her at first but she does it anyway. It really seems to be out of her control. She'll even pee if she's in her crate when we come home. She also does it anytime someone new comes in or bends down to pet her. I hope there is something I can do. Any suggestions would be great! |

| If it's pretty bad, they can. I tried that and Kaji peed on his chest. What I've started doing is opening the door and letting him out to great me outside. I led him straight to the grass and only addressed him when he had gone on the grass. Now that he is indoor trained, I walk in the living room ignore him and straight into the bathroom where his piddle pad is. If I say hello, he goes. If I bend down to touch him, he really goes. This is what has worked for us and I hope in time he will grow out of his excitement. So far he has learned that I hug and cuddle him only after he pees on the pad, or the grass.

| Sam does the same thing, he's almost completely potty trained unless i walk in the door. Luckily when i'm gone he's either in the bathroom or the kitchen and i have tile floors but i would still like it to stop. |

| It is called excitement peeing. My male who is almost 2 only does it with several people and we try to have him outside when he meets them. He will pee on them if they pick him up. Most dogs cannot help this. Your vet might have some ideas. Maybe they have medicine they can put them on. |
