| Hi! I tried litterbox training recently, and it didn't work w/ the litter, Jezebel just tried to eat it... However, we have had great success with putting the piddle pad in the litterbox to eleminate her going bathroom just off the pad. It is almost as if it gave her a target. She turned 3 months old today and we are well on our way to her being piddle pad trained. Hope this helps!

Yorkie Yakker | I trained Emilio to wee wee pads in a litter box as well. I trained him that way from day 1. I did use a housebreaking aid spray in the beginning, it is supposed to make them want to go there. Once he got it consistently, I stopped using the spray. I think it works better than just the pad, becuase the pan gives them a defined area. We call it his potty. When he goes, he gets a treat and lots of praise. I would highly recommend this. It is also nice cause you can take it to other peoples homes and he goes right to it. Also, I would suggest keeping it in the living room or where you are and in the beginning I kept putting him in it and saying potty, probably at least once an hour and if he had an accident I would put him in it as well. Good luck! |

| I am also "attempting" to litter train Koko. When I first put her in the litter box she tried not to step on the litter. I also put her wee wee pads on top of the litter. Not quite successful yet but, I will keep trying! Best of luck to you also. |
