| Joy Yard, Howell, NJ Just saw this on a NJ website that Joy Yard failed her last kennel inspection (June 28, 2012) by the county and state health departments and was issued a cease & desist order. I've heard some pretty bad things about this place, does anyone else have any information to share? |

| http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/tri...ppy-mills.html It was filthy there!! Take note too, that those that came to her defense on here were new. I hope they confiscate those dogs and get them clean and vetted as I'm sure they have never been. Very sad. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I have heard that she buys from the Amish and sells as her own, she is a well known puppy mill, she does have AKC dogs that breeds and breeds all for profit. I would NOT recomend this breeder to anyone. hugs, |

| I heard the same Carmen. It breaks my heart for these dogs. I can't understand why these dogs if she failed her inspection and had a cease and desist why these dogs have not been confiscated. Where is the Monmouth County SPCA. That guy Buddy is in charge of that, didn't he go out and try to take custody of these animals. If she failed, the animals must not have been being taken care of so they should be taken away from her. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I agree, I hate to spread rumors but my source is a very reliable breeder, she was order to Cease and NOT breed anymore, but the stupid animal control did not cease the dogs, sometimes it makes me wonder what are they thinking.. hugs, |

| Joy Yard - Puppy Mill I spoke to someone at the local health dept and was told she had almost 100 dogs and those were the ones on the outside, no one knows how many are in the house. The Monmouth County SPCA should definitely go back and demand to see the animals now that there is a cease & desist. Why any officials would protect this woman is beyond me - animals are suffering for sure in this heat and humidity! |

| How can you fail an inspection, have over 100 dogs on the outside yet the spca / animal control feel it's ok for her to keep them? They are suppose to be there for the protection of the animals. Why aren't rescues being called to come and take possession of the animals until it's fought out in court? These dogs are being left in unsanitary conditions - health department inspection not my words, yet NO ONE IS DOING A THING? Maybe some calls from animal lovers to the monmouth county spca asking why would be an order. |

| I just posted on Monmouth County SPCA Wall FB Why aren't the animals at Joy Yard's place (Distinct Acres) being removed? I was told there were over 100 found and that was outside, no one knows how many inside and that she was given a cease and desist yet the animals are still there in unsanitary conditions. There is a big write up on a dog forum about it. Why is this being allowed? Plenty of rescues would help with removing them, and fostering just say the word. Maybe some more animal lovers posting on their wall on Face Book would help. I hate to think of these poor dogs (All small breeds by the way Yorkie's Yorkie Poos, Cockapoos and Malti Poos) being not cared for in this heat too. If enough question it maybe they will move quicker to help these animals. Just saying. |

| Also post it on the NJ SPCA Facebook page - many times they're all talk and no action. The dogs need to be saved, now! |

IS THIS WHO YOU WANT TO BUY FROM? |

| Oh my god, this is so horrible. This is indeed nothing but a puppy mill! Can you imagine keeping little Yorkies and other small dogs confined to OUTDOOR dog houses, and dilapidated ones at that? Why aren't these dogs being seized by the SPCA? |

| I wrote to Monmouth SPCA and got a note back from a woman that handles correspondence and she said it was under investigation still, but said she would not be able to tell me anything. Well, if the OPRA was released then the investigation must be over, so why are these dogs still there, good question!! Also, her report where it says license # indicates NO LICENSE? What does that mean? She is not licensed or she lost her license? Either way the dogs should be removed then. she is still advertising in the Asbury Park Press every week. Unreal!! |
