Do people then slack off when it's a "regular" that comes in? Is it common practice to threaten with thousands of dollars? Now that they have reached her and she has promised to make payments, isn't that like admiting fault? If so then why are they still pursuing me? sorry i lost track of this tread-----
1st verify the check with the bank--2nd then call the person that wrote the check to verify it was issed to the customer.----if its the same customer that has been cashing checks from the same job, person ect for years we usually dont, since they have proven themselves and the bank and person that wrote the check gets tired of us calling. HOWEVER if that regular person brings a check from a different person or job--then no matter how long they have been cashing there it is verified, as well as any large amount. and yes the person admitted fault and they should be persuing her---again i think there bothering you when they have no one else to call---and shes not making the payments. again sorry for my delay in getting back to you.
