| I was wondering the same thing...it's our first, too. I'm a HUGE shopaholic and setting a $20 minimum is such a bad idea for me LOL I can't imagine I'll spend less than $50...

| I too spend more than the limit......but some people maybe only be able to afford just that, so the important thing is that each and eveyone one of our furbabies get something I know, Bobbi loves anything he gets.........he feels special and runs around the house prancing like a King The real value of the GE is to SEE and enjoy them 'claim their price' I myself can't afford much, but always manage to shop way ahead of time and before I know it, I have a TON of stuff-that way it doesn't hurt my husband's pocket book all at once

| From what the pics show, it looks like just about everybody goes overboard. But, a really good shopper can find some great deals and get alot more for their money. Shopping for someone else's little baby is soooo much fun .

| This will be my first time to participate but whatever maggie gets will be appreciated. I know i've already bought way more the 20 dollars for my part, but I dont want anyone to go over board on us if they cant afford it. I remember when I couldnt afford 20 dollars for lots of things wanted not counting somethings I might have needed. 20 dollar gift will be fine. I just think its something nice to do and fun. I always go to the pet dept whatever store I go to, even in the grocery store. Its kinda like looking at all the cute baby things they have today that they didnt have when my kids were babies and I still oww and aww about all the cute baby things to my hubby. My youngest grand child of 2 is 7 so hes not in the cutest stages of babie hood anymore. by 7 they think their so grown up. So buying things so little for the furbabies gives me that feeling of shopping for cute little babies still. lol. I love babies even if their furbabies. So whoever is assigned my name, dont make big deal over it, just enjoy what you buy and enjoy your shopping for whatever it is. we'll be happy. Maggie loves to just get a toy in the mail from where I order things on line. I usually get her a little something so she wont feel left out when I open the box.

| the last exchange was my first exchange and i had big plans and then my hubby was laid off a couple weeks before the exchange and i was sad cause i could on ly do the minimun but my buddy i hope still got good gifts. but i hope this time to spoil the little pup that we get but the way i see it is just know that what you spend is your choice and that you are making one pup really happy but you may just get a little less in return only because some cant spend it. but im happy spending alot when i can so i hope i can but this one is gonna be fun does it have a theme or just an exchange?

| i believe this theme is Spring we went way over the limit... at least twice the suggested amount.. but it really doesn't matter.. you'd be surprised the amount of stuff you can get for 20 bucks if you bargin hunt! Layla was SO happy when the package arrived and now every time a box comes in the house she thinks it is for her! we are SO excited to get our GE buddy's name so we can go shopping! she comes and helps me pick out all the good toys |
