| Sorry Buddy, I have a problem with your box UPS wants 51.30 to ship my package, and Fedex wants 40.68. What the heck! They are attaching a surcharge for large package and it's not even that big, nor does it weigh a lot. This is ridiculous. So, buddy, I am going to have to figure out a way to make your box smaller. Don't fret, I'll come up with something. Anyone else run into this??

| try the post off they are normally cheaper, you always pay an extra fee with UPS and I think FED X when it is delivered to a home address. But mailing has gotten very expensive, my box was $33.50 to mail via USPS and that was sent the cheapest way which I think they used to call parcel post. had I sent it first class it would have been $47.00. Another option is if you work at a place where they have daily UPS or FEX Pick up or have a friend that owns a small business that will let you ship on their account and them you give them the money.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Yes I went ups ground and it was better then the other choices Last time I used the post office boxes. It may be cheaper to send two that way then one. They have flat rate boxes.

| I was thinking about the post office - if it fits it ships. Maybe it would be cheaper to get two or three smaller boxes. There is always a monkey wrench to spoil fun.

| The problem is I have a large item in my box. So I'm stuck, unless I remove that item.

| my experience with those pre priced boxes has always been they are more expensive. I think the only time you win out on that if you would be shipping something like a brick or a dense piece of steel, which LOL very few people would be mailing. but it is worth a try.

| Donna is right - flat rate boxes are only worthwhile if you are shipping heavy items.

I was surprised to hear that several of you used UPS, to me they seem to always be more expensive than the post office

| My box in the box is packed and labeled. I will be taking it to the post off ice in about 30 minutes, so I can grab lunch at the same time.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | WOW . . that a huge shipping cost. I always use US Post Office and I save money by shipping from home. The mail man picks it up right from my home. I print my label right from my home printer. You need the weight or just estimate it. The most I've ever paid for an GE saw 26 and some change. It helps to keep your box under 12 x12 x 12. IF not you can always mail 2 small boxes. Plus you get $50 free insurance.

| You might want to ship that item separately. If it is light and large, it will be less expensive than heavy and large.
