Do you have to post the clues?? I have an idea and would like to participate in the next one, but wouldn't be able to post clues- it would give it all away....

That's right, a clues thread is not required. I liked how someone else said it though, that it enhances the GE experience. You should join. Aside from the rules, the GE is what YOU make it. You don't have to do a clues thread, but IF you wanted to and don't want to give away your buddy, there are ways around it,

. You make up a fake buddy, or lead your buddy in a totally different direction by giving fake clues. I've seen some very creative clues threads and always admire the thought put into them. But, I understand too if participants don't have time to do clues and keep up with them. It can become time consuming.

Michele you do not have to give clues or do a smilebox . . . You just have to have fun ! I am glad you want to join in the next one . . . I had so much fun last time. And I am having a blast shopping for my buddy . . .

Me too!

I have done a GE or two where I wanted to do a very personal gift but that would have required me to reveal ourselves to our buddy early on. I have not done that yet, but it's still something I've thought about doing.

That is very cool. . . If it is that you need info or pictures from someone to complete the project I know that there are a few people that would help out getting that info for you. Also hit up one of the people that person is close with. Maybe we should put one or two people that you can ask for info or pictures. I know if people want pictures of Galen they should check out his FB page.

I asked someone here last time to get me some info. . . And I never met her before. But she was great and I was able to pull of my surprise. . . .

Oh yes! I have had non participants help me out. I wanted to do a 12 days of Christmas type theme, and my gifts alone would have identified me. But still, think it would be sooooo fun to do. And I still might do it. Wouldn't you love getting a 12 days of Christmas before your final pkg? Even if you knew who it was coming from? Sending it to someone else to then forward it would be so costly in postage. And I've thought of doing it for other GE's too as the 12 days (or what ever days) of the GE theme.

See I would not just because it it inventive. . . Something fun and different. Unless you drop ship the items or you get a partner in crime to get the stuff for you . . .

I've had people help me for sending stuff to other members before. I got Rhonda's address from another member, Michelle's address from a different member, and Anne's address from an even different member. I have no doubt I could enlist the help of others to get stuff done....

I've never done one before, so maybe I'll start.
