| Trying to re-learn how to sew... no where near good enough to send anything to a SB - my scrap material football looks more like a deflated tire , the scrap material dog bone I made is lopsided and the vest I attempted wouldn't even fit Jack... so I continue to try to teach myself, having fun doing it and love watching my DH's reaction to my little "creations." But I was able to be a bit creative and did make something for my SB, which has now lead me down another path and I have made the same thing for one of Izzy's kitty siblings. I do have materials to make enough for the whole lot of the fur babies in the house. I can't say yet what it is because I don't want to ruin anything for my SB, but once we have confirmation that SB has received our package, I will post pics of what I have been making.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | When I first signed up for the YT GE, I thought I was going to be able to keep things pretty "real"... but unbeknownst to me I didn't realize how much fun it would be shopping for someone else and things quickly got out of control I am completely incapable of making anything either, so I was trying to make sure I got meaningful gifts. I stayed within my own personal budget, but it definitely was above the minimum. I had fun though, and I cannot wait to enter Dexter into the next GE. I would honestly have to say though, it isn't the monetary value of the gift that makes this so fun! It is the fact that someone else is putting thought and effort into something for you that makes it so special. So this being my first GE, I would recommend to anyone who wanted to join to participate!! Even if you only wanted to/could only spend the minimum amount. That is all anyone does and should expect.
