Rhonda I am not sure about this one, so far there are just three of us, and in reading about what might be instore for Luma and Carmen I am wondering if they will have to drop out. Is this normal to have so few signed up few days before the cut off.

Looks to me like Carmen dropped out already.....

and no it is NOT normal ~ especially for a Christmas Exchange. GE has really lost popularity in recent months.

I agree, Rhonda......because we had YOU and ROSIE for the Christmas GE and were spoiled beyond rotten

I have to insert a little of my honesty here. I joined YT in 2006 and participated in a gift exchange the next year when I was eligible. I had a great time. I took a break when my son was born and came back the beginning of this year. I have followed the gift exchange since I came back and it seems like so much pressure. I know I know it's what you make it but I just don't know if I have the time and energy to do everything...hence the reason I don't sign up. I can't help but wonder if others don't feel the same way?

I LOVE the GE! There is a little pressure to be honest but I don't think any more than I have buying for a family member or my children.

I think you just have to have fun! I think (just my opinion) if I was told a "limit" it would be better for me. Sometimes I think the GE gets a little crazy!

But it really really is fun!

Agreed on the limit and that might be the pressure I feel LOL. There is limit correct? But I am sure very few stick to that.

That and the amounts of $ some spend keep me out. If it were just a simple GE with $ limits and without doing the Smilebox thing & shopping for many expensive gifts, I would love to participate. I'll leave it to those who can and enjoy watching all the same.
