Awwww! I feel so bad that u had such a bad experience!! Last GE was our first, and it was so much fun! I can see how a bad box would make u want to quit!!! I know I've spent alot on both my boxes.... But it wasn't about the money, just more fun to make a great surprise for someone! I hope u will participate again!!!

You even posted pictures from another forum's GE that you did where Dana Hart Ball was your GE buddy. You were not too ill to lift the camera for that occasion.

I'm sorry but having a injury to your leg has nothing to do with your GE box. You have been sending out orders to your "customers" who have posted reviews. This was and still is an obligation that you made and should take presidence over all else without excuses on your part. Last GE you were having your floors refinished.

There are no excuse for your poor manner this GE or the GEs that you have been in previously. You have hurt other members feelings for your lack of gratitude toward all of the effort and money they spent on your gifts. Your response is nothing less than a slap in their face.

It's just time to step up. If your box isn't ready and you are too ill to complete it then my suggestion to you is to send what you have an add in a $50 gift card to make sure you are reciprocating at an equal level. Please just no more excuses.

Wow. I have really been thinking of what to reply to you shoeflmeyer. If I honestly thought you were late because of things out of your control I would understand. If it was just me you hurt, I would keep silent, but neither is the case.

This has gotten bigger than you and me... as you can see from the posts I quoted above for starters. Why do you think people are upset with you? Have you looked at your actions without making excuses? be honest.

You say you worked so hard on the box. How do you think your sb feels when you can't even post a smilebox? That is just not right. How about last GE? Why sign up for a GE time after time when you can not fulfill what you are suppose to do? We ALL have our problems, it is not a perfect world, but you have to prioritize what is important. We at yt know we are not important to you.. Your repeated actions show that.

Do you understand how much effort I put into my boxes.. days of planning, searching, sewing... money-time-effort... and littlebit of me. The excitement of sending and waitingf or the reward of pictures.. and you could not even do that for your buddy!Shame on you.. And not to even give your buddy credit for what they did send...shame.

I am the type of person that loves to give, oh I like getting too, but I worry that I am giving enough. I understand from comments made that your past boxes were not so great. I don't know, but if you can't provide a great box.. don't do the ge!!! Think for a minute how your sb must feel.

Every event has positives, I know people care that I was left out. I do feel lucky to have yt friends. I have had great sb in the past... and I really hope they know I appreciate them. If you were my family member I would say to you... please be honest with yourself, don't make excusesthat seem to be untrue with evidence that is so easy to find (face book forexample), and think how your actions effect others. The ge is suppose to be fun, happy time to get us all away from our trouble.. you really spoiled it for many people. Think of how you want to be viewed, to be remembered.

Dianne, she was our buddy a couple of GEs back and our box was late by almost a whole month. I think that was the time "her daughter was in an accident." That GE almost did me in too. I am glad to see this being addressed. I hope you don't let your bad experience detour you from participating in future GEs.

As for "some" of the rest of you....my computer's parental controls blocked me from this thread. I didn't even know I had those kind of "controls" cuz my kids are way past having to worry about that stuff......

Thanks Kendra for caring. I think we all care about each other (most of us anyway) and want everyone to have a fun time in the GE's.

I agree it's not about the money but a bad (horrible) box will make you think twice about participating the next time. I was so excited about the teasers I sent her (mini meshies and a personalized leash hanger to hang her leashes on.) She NEVER posted a pic of Princess in the mini meshies and never posted a pic of the leash hanger, not even in her Smilebox.) And she didn't open the socks I sent her from AllDogBoots or even try them on Princess. It was just a very disappointing experience. It was ironic that we had each other as SB's and she got her box LONG before I got mine.

In my opinion, she is USING all the GE's to get nice things for Princess but not reciprocating!!!!!!!!!!

I am SO HAPPY this is being addressed. I almosted contacted Admin after I received her junk box. I think our box was at least 2-3 weeks late, I don't remember. I may give the GE another try as I thoroughly enjoyed our first one (Shoefelmeyer was our 2nd.)

Thanks for letting us know you too had a bad experience with her as well. Everyone is tired of her lame excuses.

I think I've said all I can say other than to agree with what is being posted. She definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Thank goodness Toby didn't get that same taste! He loves getting surprises!

This was our first GE and I can tell you, I worried myself sick that my box would be good enough. I wanted our buddy to be happy and I really agonized over what goodies I wanted to make and send. I have looked at the smileboxes and clues every time a new GE was going on and Lisa (sugarmamma) told me how much fun it was and she helped me decide to participate.
I had so much fun making and buying things for our buddy and we were blessed with a wonderful buddy in return!! Shelly (ChaCha) made this first GE one we will never forget.
I cannot imagine the hurt and disappointment for all of you who have been burned. Hopefully things will be different in the future and this member won't be allowed to participate again.
I think you can tell if someone put thought and love into their box, no matter how much money was spent. As someone said earlier...Details matter!!

well said!! I approach ge like christmas for my girls... I plan and work on the boxes alot. I know my first sb box was far from perfect but I know she could see I really tried. and she posted a wonderful smilebox!! That is what it is about..

Me too! I kept thinking i didn't send enough, and I went back to the stores to buy more. And what I ultimately sent after looking at what some of the senior GE'ers have sent, I need to step up my game for next time!

I can't believe the nerve of this person. I hope she won't be allowed to participate again.
