The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XVI, our sixteenth Gift Exchange, will take place in May 2009. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE, though if you want to give your Secret Buddy winter-related items, that is fine.

PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW if your Secret Buddy lives in Canada or the United Kingdom or overseas:

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

Also, please note to mark your item as a gift, and please do not claim it as more than $50, otherwise your Secret Buddy will have to pay import taxes on it. If you have any questions about this, please contact us. Thank you!

- You joined YorkieTalk before March 1, 2009.

- Please do NOT send your Secret Buddy any USED toys or clothes. Re-gifting a new item you may have received is fine, but any USED items are not allowed.

Please do not sign up unless you are currently a Donating Member.

Please note that the spending minimum is $20 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the Gift Exchange Rules and Regulations thread. Please read it again, as there have been some changes to the rules since the last Gift Exchange. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

This thread is ONLY for signups. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by April 1, 2009 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end April 30, 2009. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting May 1, 2009. The deadline for sending out gifts will be May 31, 2009.

He loves most treats, but tummy cant handle bully sticks. He does like to chew so I was thinking maybe treats that last a little longer would be nice for him!!! He is a very playful little guy. His most favorite spot to lay down is anywhere you lay a soft blanket.

TOYS: Daizy is on a mission to remove every squeaker in EVERY toy she comes into contact with. So finding toys that she can't tear up...is very hard! She goes crazy for anything that makes noise! Please no rubber toys or anything from China..She loves to chew and dig, and dig and chew!
SNACKS: She ADORES bully sticks! But I have to ask..if you want to get her a bully stick..please only the ones that don't actually smell like what they are! lol (non-stinky ones) She's very picky about snacks. About the only snack I have found that she loves is Pupperoni. We've tried goumet treats..but she isn't interested in them. I have given Daizy greenies once in awhile...and she LOVE LOVE LOVES them. But I haven't gotten her any in a long time so I'm ok with greenies..the small ones.
CLOTHING STYLES: Daizy has plenty of dresses...because we live in Montana.... we just don't dress up that often! But she always has room for more...if that's what you want to get for her! ) She loves PJ'S!!! And she only has ONE pair! So she could definately use pj's. Specially since the nights get cold here year round! And Hoodies....a girl can never have too many hoodies. However she won't wear shoes!

Yorkie's favorite colors - We love her in RED and BABY BLUE, however she doesn't have anything in GREEN or YELLOW... But she looks cute in any color we've put on her!

I would prefer no rawhide. And please no toys or treats from China. Other than that please just have fun. I will tell you that every time any box or package comes into our home..Daizy automatically KNOWS it's for her!!! I will take video of her excitement when we get your gift so you can see what I mean...lol She's a very sweet, loving little girl. We love to go on long hikes together in the mountains. One thing I haven't gotten for the girls is a doggie carseat...simply because they are so stinking expensive....however if you have or can find a used doggie car seat...I'd be thrilled to get one! Especially one that would hold both girls...together they weigh under 10 lbs. So that's just an idea. Anyhow...you can use this information as a guide in Daizy's gift...or throw it out altogether and go YOUR OWN route!!! We're totally kewl with that. Just know that Daizy will be happy with ANYTHING you choose for her!!! Like I said earlier...she LOVES getting packages!!!! I would love to get Maddy a harness from Chattiesmom (love the Iridescent colors!)

Would love anything from go.fetch, Monkey Daze or Chloe Bella. (But appreciate anything we get!!)

Maddy would love to try bully sticks, Yorkie Yummies (Chattiesmom), and LOVES yogurt treats!!

Maddy has a lot of the Lulu Pink stuff already and would like to try new brands.

Maddy will not wear a top knot.
