Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Candy, Casper, Halle, & Spook are 8 weeks old! Well, here we are again...another week of frolic & fun has passed. The puppies have graduated to dry puppy food and are handling it very well. They should, as I've felt how sharp their little teeth are first hand. The boys use their teeth the most (in play of course); Casper will nip at anything he can get his little teeth on and Spook; so funny, will latch onto the toes of your socks and he will not let go for anything. If he gets it while you're standing, you could walk across the room without him letting go. Or if you just stand there, he will just tug and tug. It is so funny! The girls are a little sweeter in nature, giving more kisses than nips, tho they have their moments of play biting too. Last week a nice family chose Spook to be a part of their family. Yesterday, a cute coupe stopped by and chose Halle to come live with them and their other yorkie who is only 2 months older than her. Again, after talking with them, I know they are total "dog" people and I feel confident Halle will have a great life with them. I had to be extra certain on this one as Halle really stole my heart. I am going to miss her terribly. We even toyed with the idea of keeping her, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. We will be busy in just a few short weeks with our own new addition, Toby (from Sugars Mom), and will most likely think about getting another little girl sometime in the future. Anyway...enough talk. Here are Lexie's kids at 8 weeks...as always, in birth order...

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Halle's new "brother" Hi.....just thought I'd share a picture of Halle's new "brother" Piccalo. Her new mommy stopped by for a visit and to introduce the two to each other. Piccalo is 4 1/2 months old and he and Halle played well together. It made me feel a little better about having to let Halle go knowing she will have a playmate to keep her from missing her littermates to much. But since she does own a piece of my heart, it will still be so sad to see her leave. Anyway, here they are........ oh, and they will be just friends as the new owners do not plan to breed them.

| Rose, they are soooo cute...and look at Candy's ear standing already...did it do that on it's own or was that after you had taped them? Halle looks so cute with her brother...and like Lori said, you must tell them about YT so you(and the rest of us) can see little Halle grow into a beautiful little girl!!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | I asked Halle's new mom about me working to help her ears stand and she said not to worry about it, though I'm sure they would be up like the other two...I taped them up for just 2 days and look at them. Casper's on the other hand are going to need some work. They seem a little big and still quite floppy, so hopefully persistance will pay off with taping.
