My beautiful girls are one week old today!!!!!!!! They are doing great. little fart is such a good mother. They both weighed 9 ounces this morning. I am just so pleased with this litter. i can't wait until they get older to see what they are going to look like. of course, Ceeby is ever the proud papa!!!!!! Even if he did hike his leg on their whelping box today. he has this thing of 'watering' every litter at least once. it is so funny!!!!!!

yes it is funny. I always here people saying the babies need to stay with their MOTHERS until twelve weeks because they learn from her. But, I'm telling ya right now, ceeby is teaching the babies too. Little TY that went to his new home recently was lifting his leg at 12 weeks. never seen a dog do that so early. he was just the cutest thing. ceeby would lift his leg and TY would go right behind him and lift his little leg.

no, he was just doing what daddy was but ceeby always finds a way to "water' his babies at least once. it's usually when i first put the eight week olds in the living room with the other dogs and they are lying asleep in a puppy pile. he just flat out will walk over to them and lift his leg on them. Shows what he thinks!!
