| Grandma Again!!!! i am going to be a grandma again!!!!! After consulting with my vet, i decided to breed Little Fart because her weight went up. the vet thought she would be safe. So, we did an ultrasound today and i got so excited. just like when I saw my skin grandbabies ultrasound. She has two for sure and maybe three. So, on or about May12th, ceeby is going to become a proud papa again. Little fart (the only name she knows) is Dixie in my avatar. |

| my question is if only people who show are worthy of breeding than how in god's earth are people supposed to get a pet you know as well as i do not to many pups are let go by show breeders and the ones that are let go most of the time for pet's are the cull dogs that they would not show themselves i feel if you are a knowledgeable breeder than you have you'r rights as well Some one started breeding these dogs way back with little knowledge as to what would come out of it i do believe you must be breeding for within the standard dont even want to get into the tinies and have good dogs as to which deloris does show breeders started somewhere doesnt other deserve the same right i have heard many stories as to how many show people started with very little and lucked up and got a show dog one of my very dearest freinds is a big show person who mentors me all the time not every one has 3000 dollars or more to buy a show prospect to get started and not all can afford 500 to 700 or better a month for a handler there is show breeders and pet breeders and as long as both protect the yorkie and its health and try to keep to the standard than so be it enough of the who should be breeding and who shouldnt |

| Thanks, Rose, i have contacted admin about the rude post and expect this thread to be closed now at any time. And you are right. Seems MOST of the show breeders on this forum do think they are the only ones with any knowledge at all and the only ones that ought to be breeding. As you well know, three out of my last litter of five are going to try the show ring. Does not mean they will make anything but have been deemed show quality so yes, I do have good dogs. |

| I take it Yorkiedaze is one of those "stuck up" people who think she is the only one who should be breeding these dogs.... I'm sure if you were in contact with your vet, you are breeding within breed standards... Don't listen to others, CONGRATULATIONS! I know how excited you must be! Can't wait till may, to see pic's.

| DEE ...... MANY MANY MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR NEW MUMMY AND DADDY. THERE WAS REALLY NO NEED FOR ANY OTHER COMMENTS ONLY A BIG BIG BIG NOT EVERYONE WANTS TO BE BREEDERS OR SHOW PEOPLE - SOME OF US JUST LOVE OUR YORKIES AND WANT THEM TO BE PART OF OUR FAMILIES.

| Bought one of Dee's babies. How dare you! She LOVES her dogs and wouldn't breed Dixie if she didn't think it was a good idea. Man - Not a very good way to be inclusive. What ever happened to "If you don't have anything nice to say - don't say anything at all!?" Go pick on the puppy millers - they're the real issue. Dee's dogs are in the breed standard - aren't they? If you have proof they aren't bred well, the post that. Until then - zip it. This isn't the place for it.

| ANY human that has a baby is in Danger too! Not all births are within the book! So as long as you know what you are doing BREEDER OR NOT I think you are doing as much as you can for this wonderful breed. I'm sure you (as a breeder/shower) have had your fair share of problems with whelping puppies!

| Congratulations!! Can't wait to see pics of the babies. You are an awesome, caring breeder. This is not a compliment, it is an observation, as I have been to your home twice and have one of your babies. I thought I should back up what was said by SBeckett668. I would recommend you to anyone looking for a puppy, and would definitely buy another pup from you myself. Missy |
