| We're getting so excited, only seven days to go! Mom's Toy Zoe Grace of Newburgh had a prenatal visit today and she's doing great! Vet says temperature is still over 100.5, pups are VERY active(2 or 3), and belly is 18" around. She's now rounder than she is long! I am looking for my digital camera so I can post pictures. This will be her first litter and mine, so we are very nervous and excited. I get a lot of advice just reading the posts on this forum. Thanks to everyone who has already helped and doesn't even know it! We are hoping to have the pups at home, but some of the posts talking about turning pups and getting fluid from around them and such really scares me. I just want everything to go well for my baby girl Zoe. I got her into this and I want to get her out happy and safe. I'll find that camera and have pix of my girl (and boy) tomorrow.

| I wish you the best of luck and I'll be watching for the "she's in labor post." I hope you don't need help, but the breeders on here have been really great when they've been needed. |

| New To The Community! Need Your Advice!! Hello Everyone, I need some advice on trying to buy a cute, healthy male Yorkie. I would like to know your input. My husband and I just recently got married! We also do not have children at this time. A young lady contacted us about buying a yorkie mixed with s**t tzu, as she calls them "shorkies" . Her web site is www.pricelesspups.net. The price starts at $1700 and up with a 5 year health warranty. She states that the mix breed is better than any other when it comes to health reasons. Is this true? Would you buy one? We are so new to this and have been seeking very good advice from another breeder. My husband would like to know what do you think about it. If anyone knows of a good breeder that have any male yorkies available within the price of $800-$1500, we are ready to buy. Please tell me what you think, all advices are welcome. Thank you. |

| I would stick with a purebred too. Especially when someone is asking what seems to be a very high price for who knows what. You can get pedigreed Yorkies in our area for $700-900, so if you don't mind a drive, check out the classifieds at Evansville Courier and Press, Evansville, Indiana. Also, I got my girl from Cottingham Kennels in Henderson, KY. Tim Cottingham is a vet. You might try them. I don't think our babies will make it to outside the family and friends, but if they do, you'll see a post on classifieds on this site. Good luck on finding a baby. Stick with the Yorkie breed, they are THE BEST!!!

| She's gonna pop! We're on day 59 and poor baby is huge! Is this normal with only two or three pups? Her temp is 101, so still good there. She's just walking around......

| What about brother? What has been everyone's experience with other family dogs when the babies come? I have another Yorkie who is a 6 year old male. I plan on keeping away from her via kennel, but should I do more? How long before he can be around the pups? Advice? Thanks

| We have Puppies!!! We have puppies!!! between 6:15 and 7:50 this evening, Zoe delivered 5 beautiful babies!!! We were only expecting two so we were so excited when they just kept coming. They are Boy - 4 5/8 oz Girl - 4 7/8 oz Girl - 3 1/2 oz Girl - 3 1/2 oz Boy - 4 1/8 oz Zoe did so well! She scared me at first as she walked around for 1 1/2 hours with the first placenta hanging out her behind. Then she found her spot (in my closet, not my oh so prepared box) and bam, bam, bam, bam, bam!!! She handled everything like a pro. She is now resting and nursing. My only question is, do I need to worry about the tiny girls? Please advise.
