| Dear Bravodarling, I finally got my babies to breastfeed. Why are you having to bottle feed? Congrats on your new babies and the best of luck!!! This question is to anyone: I have a male and female. They both are gaining weight but the female will nurse and just go to sleep. The male will nurse but when Sweet Pea gets out of the box, he just cries. Is this common? |

| I always bottle feed my babies plus they nurse from the mommy, just trying to make sure they grow healthy in the first 3 weeks. Hummmm if that happens here i find its a hungry puppy and give it some bottle and then off to sleep they go. Maybe he is still wanting some milk ??? Hope all are doing fine and thanks for the Congrats. |

| the only advice i can offer is keep tube feeding them until you know for sure they are nursing and getting enough milk. My Roxy had pups and i kept bottle feeding the runt because she wasnt nursing and all this time i was bottle feedin her, she wasnt getting enough milk and got dehydrated and very sick and eventually i had to put her down, so to be on the safe side just keep doing it.
