| Size First of all, I am new to the boards. I just got my first yorkie about 2 weeks ago. With that said-I read on the internet that Yorkies should be about 7 lbs. when they are fully grown. When we took him to the vet for his 8 week check up he weighed in at 4.7 lbs. I feel that he will def grow to be more than 7 lbs. His sister was only a little over 2 pounds. (My friend got his sister so that is how I know). |

| Here is a link to the growth chart posted on Yorkie Talk: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16045 There are some threads about how puppies grow. If you do a search, I am sure you will come across a couple of them.

| Thank you so much! That chart was helpful. I will probably have a pretty big yorkie when he's fully grown! BTW-your babies are too cute! I have to learn how to post pics. |

| Hi there and welcome to YT! I was wondering the same thing and I looked at the chart, but it didn't help me because my furbaby was too big for it, it only helps if your pup is going to weigh 6lbs or less (As far as I can tell) - and I gather yours will weigh more then that too. Also, I know it is only approximate and I believe the other approximate ways people have said to try, is to tripling the weight at 8 weeks and/or double it at 12 weeks. I have heard that you never can tell for sure but that is a good way to guess. I hope that helps!

| Thats true to double their weight at 12 weeks, it worked for me. And that is the closet guess you can get give or take some ounces
