We just came back from our first visit to the vet for shots. Dr. Ralph has seen these girls from the start, was with me when Reggie died, and today, he got such a big smile on his face when he saw all 5 girls. His first words were, they look good but a bit undernourished. Then he started to laugh. He was blown away by Roxie. I took her along to show off my miracle mama who's milk had to have been heaven sent. He said, God does work in mysterious ways. As he examined each of the girls, he would shake his head. Finally he said that it is so rare for such young yorkies to survive after loosing their mother at only 8 days old. Then he ran and got his camera to take pictures of our little miracle girls. Love weighs 1.2 lb, Star weighs 1 pound, Faith weighs 1.2 lb, Hope weighs 1.4 lb and Charity, my whopper, weighs 1.4 lb. Dr. Ralph was very impressed with them all. Although I miss my Reggie something terrible, seeing these girls grow up has been such a heartwarming experience. It's going to be very difficult to let any of them go.

Your puppies are so cute. I believe it was your love of Reggie and the group effort of your furbabies that saved the puppies. You should give yourself a pat on the back and your Furbabies alot of hugs and kisses

It may have been a group effort but not without a heavenly helping hand from above. I take very little credit for their survival. The girls are, without a doubt, God's work. But thank you anyway.

your babies are gorgeous you have every right to be proud well done i hope you find them wonderful homes i understand how you feel about parting with them my little Maggie had 3 boys 2 weeks ago they are all doing fine but you fall in love with them so easily

They are all simply beautiful. Bless Reggie's heart. She did her very best up until the end. She is in God's arms now with her little boy. Until you are with her again may she remain in your hearts. Peace be with you all.

I've been doing pretty good with everything until I read your beautiful message. The tears are rolling down my face as I write this. My Reggie was the best! I found out last night that she actually died in Dr. Ralph's arms. I wish she could have been in my arms but I know it was probably much better this way. Our friends have Samson, Sassy's brother and Reggie's second born and first son. They were in to see Dr. Ralph the next day after Reggie died. We stopped to see them last night and that's when I found out. It's hitting me pretty hard tonight. God, I am going to be such a basket case when these girls are old enough to go to new homes. Add to that, Saturday would have been my Mom's birthday. She's been gone since December 10, 1997. Guess I just need a good cry right now. Thank you all for being there.

Linda, they are just beautiful. I looked at their pics on your site and am just amazed at how great a job you have done. They are perfect!!

Thank you but I have to give credit where credit is due. I couldn't have done it without God's helping hands, Sissy, Dante, and Roxie. Roxie has always been very special, she almost didn't make it when she was born. She was the fourth pup born, it was 4 am, and Sissy ripped the cord right off her belly. Roxie kept bleeding and I couldn't get it stopped and I couldn't get her lungs cleared. I sat with her on her back, on the heating pad, on my lap for 4 hours with my thumb on her belly and tapping on chest with my other hand. I finally put her in with the rest of the pups and Sissy. She did fine and when it came time for the litter to go to new homes, I simply couldn't part with her. Apparently God had plans for her and she was meant to survive to be here for me and Reggie's girls. She's very much like her Grandma Reggie, she isn't happy until I pick her up and hold her when I get home.

I know how you feel. I lost my precious Mom October of 1996. She was my best friend and a day doesn't go by that I don't think of her. The loss of a loved one rips your heart out and you are never the same. When I lost my little Tuffy, after 15 years I thought I would never stop crying. She was so ill but I just couldn't give up on her. She actually did die in my arms and I must tell you I have mixed feelings about it. To have her take her last breath after such a struggle was heart breaking. I was fortunate I had a dear friend with me at the time or I would have lost my mind. Thank God for angles that are there when we need them. Finally after 11 years I am blessed with my precious little yorkie Dollie. She is my new friend and little love. Cry as you must for tears truly place a bandage on our hearts. I believe it is the only way to release the pain little by little and in time we find that we have learned to live with it. You are in my thoughts and prayers dear lady. Just do your Reggie proud and keep sending her kisses up to heaven.

Your puppies are precious, I love the one named Star, So tempted to call you about purchasing her ,if I can only talk hubby into it.We have 3 in the bed with us now and he says the bed isnt big enough for any more.LOL we will see.
