Need help picking out a name for my new baby I will be getting a new baby girl in a couple months and I need help picking out a cute name for her akc papers. The three names I like are Abbie, Emma Jewel and Sophie but not sure what would be cute to go with them. please help! My other two yorkies are named Frankenstein's lil Cookie Monster (Frankie for short) and Tinkerbell's lil Pixie Dust (Tink for short). Thank you in advance for your help

| Naming puppies is so fun! How exciting to have this coming up I especially love the name Frankie (melt!) I feel like I like Sophie the best out of those three- your other names are long and you have nick names though- will you have one that doesn't have a nick name and be okay with that? I like Penelope or Penny a lot too... Also, there is a fun thread boys names A-Z and one for girls as well- you might want to check it out

I am partial to Abbie. One of our first yorkies was Abbey and I loved that name. You can see her picture in my album. Last edited by anniernc; 06-30-2016 at 07:11 PM.

Sure, you can get a lot of name suggestions here and there but it will be better if you let us see a photo of your girl in order to suggest an appropriate name. I think Peach and Rosy are still sweet names though.

I wouldn't name her Sophie, its too popular. How about Truffle. I try not to use the IE sound in every name it helps cut down on puppy confusion and helps with training.
