Hi! I'm new here, I just picked up my first yorkie. I'm soooo smitten! He has the best personality, he is snuggly and playful and quite a character. I had a hard time deciding on a name for him. There was DaVinci, Pablo, Luigi, Otto...but after spending a few days with him and his pranks, Loki was perfect.

I would like to add a couple pics here, but all my pics are too large of a file size. Is there a way to make them smaller? Must show off the baby!

I use an app on my phone to shrink the pics. congrats!!

Welcome to YT, I like the name of Loki. A friend of mine named his pit bull Loki, it's uncommon and cute. Sorry I cannot help out with pic sizing, I have not mastered that yet lol. Have fun with your little baby, yorkies are such silly, funny lil characters lol. Just a heads up, they LOVE to shred tissues, napkins, toilet tissue, etc. lol, it's a yorkie thing lol.

Matese - your timing is quite funny...guess who is currently shredding a kleenex? He also has a spot near the kitchen where he keeps all his treasures, which consist of a clump of grass, a seed packet, his ball, a few tufts of raw wool, a business card...and some dead leaves. I tried moving them this morning, he picked them up one by one and proudly jaunted them all back.

Uhmm...so I kind of wish I got two. or three. Granted, I have a Maltese and Lhasa Apso too, but I think I might be a sucker for yorkies now!

Like potato chips ya can't just one lol, I had a pack of 3, all 3 years apart, all females, all tom boys lol, yorkies are addictive. Yes they have stash piles, last last girl use to hide things she stole from my purse behind the sofa lol, as naughty as they can sometimes be, ya just can't get mad at them, they are just to cute. Loki must have read my mind when I was giving you heads up on tissues lol, so funny. Enjoy your little baby.

ok, well I resized the pics to under 200kb, but it keeps saying it needs approval first. Aaaaargh. I'm probably not doing something right?

Little Mr Loki is just beautiful. You haven't done anything wrong, after 10 posts they will appear right away, you're close to that 10 post mark.

I tried looking everywhere to see if I had to post a certain amount first but didn't see anything.

So...its a good thing I am kinda broke. Just found out Loki's brothers are still available. I think i may have a problem
