| That is so sweet that Faith will still be in your family, and Grace will be nearby with a YT member. A playpen is a good idea when they are this small; you're right they'd probably get out of an ex-pen. I've never seen newborns, so can't imagine how tiny they are. Hugs to you and the fury bunch.

| How about a box with higher sides and a set of "little doggy" stairs (my daughter has stairs so her yorkie can get on the bed). Can mommy jump down in? I'm thinking like a foot or so.

| I have a taller box but how is momma going to get out once she is in there. She only goes in when it is feeding time now. I go back to work tonight so I can't just leave her in there for 12 hours without her getting to get out to eat and potty. The play pen is big enough for me to put a bed in there for her so she can get away but I still have to figure out how she is going to go potty and eat. Have stairs so she can get into anything just don't know how to let her back out. At least this is a problem that I can figure out with out medical care. LOL |

| I had a plastic swimmng pool I put in my bedroom. Lasted a couple of weeks but then...yep, they kept getting out. How about a blow up one? I know it's not the season for pools but we had one from last year for the little children that I "borrowed" from them. Its already back outside and they ddidn't even miss it. Winter..lol Elsa got in and out of it with ease. |

| Oh the babies are just sooooo adorable!!...I have a 5 1/2 month old pup and I have the soft side xpen/play yard for him...I picked this one cause it has a floor in it for potty pads & accidents, the xpens don't...it has a mesh top that zips up for climbers and most yorkies are..Harley has already scaled his...quick fix tho just zip the top up.

| After much coaxing by Sara and other members I guess it is time that I officially announce that I am the one that will be getting the honor of having Baby Grace come and live with me. ![]() ![]() My vet, which is her's also contacted me about seeing if he could give her my number to help and of course I said yes. Did not know she just joined YT till we talked. I have been coming over and helping her when she has to work and also to give her a small break to do things like take a shower and eat. LOL Sara is such an amazing person and I feel very honored that she picked me to be Baby Grace's forever mommy. Yes, her name will forever be Baby Grace or Gracie.....thanks to MauiGirl for coming up with the perfect names for them. I also know from talking with Sara that Faith's name will also stay the same since she is going to her mom's. So yes everyone will get to see her as she grows and I will post lots of pictures for everyone to see. Hugs, Tammie

I just read through both threads about these miracle babies and these words sum up everything I'm feeling perfectly. I think hero is the perfect word to describe Sara.

That is so sweet of you to help Sara, as she surely needed and deserved some help. I wish you all the best in raising Baby Grace, and I am so very happy for you.

| Thanks Tammie for posting....now the secret is out and I don't have to worry about letting it slip!! I know she will be in great hands with you...you have helped us more than I could ever imagine. Yes, you are now their official "NANA". Tammie was able to go out and find a place that ordered the IRIS 8 panel x-pen and it is supposed to be here on Tuesday. The only time they get out is when they are hungry so I am thinking they are looking for momma or food. She is not nursing too much now. I am up to 3 bottles a day that I feed and still some supplements. When can we try food with them? They will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. Here is a video (Thanks to Tammie) of how they are when mom is finished nursing them and she leaves. She is only in there for about a minute now and looks like not all of them are getting on. It's not very long but the camera card I have for this camera is not big at all. They all wonder around and cry and that is when I will offer another bottle. (Please disregard the dirty bedding....that is after going the night.) |
