Ahh, don't ever underestimate this tiny one. Sometimes the smallest surpasses all the others and turns out to be the biggest. So sweet!

Yea! Eyeballs! They are just all so strong and healthy. Shoot, it won't be but a couple more weeks and they are going to be fully mobile. Get all that rest now. Phase II, coming soon!

So when do we get to start food???? I was always told when their eyes open and they can start getting around they can start with a little food. Someone also told me to start with some baby cereal. What is your thoughts?????

Have you ever brought a brand new puppy home and marveled at the amount of energy they have? About how they seem to have run of the house? About how much they get into "stuff"? About their ability to chew on any and everything? About how they are not ashamed in the least to squat and take care of business right in the middle of your brand new throw rug? And then walk through it, leaving little puppy poo tracks everywhere they go? About how they whine and cry for attention in the middle of the night?

Well, you have 4 that are about to figure out just what those legs are for, so . . . Good Luck!!

Oh, well that. LOL I took in a litter of 8 pit bull puppies at 6 weeks and that was a hand full. I think these little 4 will be a heck of a lot easier. At least their puddles wont soak my whole foot!!

Good idea! Of course, I agree, these 4 shouldn't be too bad compared to 8 pits!!

They were a lot of fun. I had 3 large crates that they slept in. Each morning I would drag the crates to the kitchen and use 2 of them to block the entrance from the living room and used a puppy gate to block the other entrance. As soon as I opened the door...the dogs would fly out. When ever anyone stepped into the kitchen, the dogs would attack you. They all just wanted to be held and loved. Never have I laughed so hard as I did with them. Was trying to find a picture of them but they are not on this computer. Will get the other hard drive hooked up and get them off their for you to see.

I expect these 4 will bring me hours of entertainment also. How could you not laugh at some of the things these dogs do. Even now they do funny stuff. Getting batteries for my other camera so I can take a few video's of them.

Nope, no saint. Just happened to know a lady at the humane society when momma was brought in and she gave the girl my number. Couldn't say no.

Just read through your original breeder thread, and all I can say is WOW! I cried when everyone else cried even though I knew mom survives. That first pic you posted of mom back with her babies was priceless, and no words can describe it.

I only wish we could all chip in and send you a plaque for your vet. Something that says that YT thanks him, & offers him the plaque for going above & beyond....I dunno, something along those lines that he can hang in his lobby for all to see. I know that I wish I lived in Texas, so I could switch vets! lol.

And you! There are no words that haven't been already used to describe you! I am just glad I didn't see the posts as they were happening! My gosh, hats off to you, & sending you & your babies much love & prayers of thanks. Enjoy your family, & much luck trying to let even one of those miracle furkids go!

I have even gotten the bottle feedings set so when I work I can feed them when I leave and they will be fine till I get home. But as soon as I walk in the door, Bella is there to let me know she needs a break. LOL

Just still hard to believe all that we went through and how far we have come. Almost done writing up our story since I had several people contact me about using it on their website. While we are ending up with a happy ending others are not so lucky. Maybe just hearing what we went through may protect another dog from having to go through it. One can only hope.

Finally the day has come where I can breathe a sigh of relief. Looks like all the rough parts are behind us now. Still can not say thank you enough to all that has helped us and prayed for us. Wouldn't be here doing this post if it wasn't for you!!!
Would love to read it! Will you let us know when it has been used on anothers website. How exciting can that be?

I will let you know when it is ready. Just have to get back to working on it.

Hope opened her eyes today. So now 3 of the 4 have eyes. Still waiting for Faith but she will come around in her own sweet time.

Now I have a question. The rubbermaid container that I have them in is starting to become a problem. They are trying to climb over the sides. What else can I use that Momma can get into to nurse but they can't get out of??? I have a play pen but the sides don't drop down far enough for mom to get in and out of it. What is everyone else using??? I just don't want a puppy to get out and with being gone when I work I want to keep them safe.

I would say it's time for an X-pen, that way mom has more room but still in with babies.
