Miracle Babies

Awe, hugs to you Tammie and to the little poopie darlings. Sorry it has been so tough this week, and I sure hope things turn around quickly.

It's good the vet is checking the fecal samples, to rule out many things. Darn those shots, making the lil ones have a bad time.

I wonder if some probiotics or acidopholis would help get their tummies back to normal. Lots of people on YT recommend giving a little cooked canned plain pumpkin for diarrhea, though I haven't used it myself.

Today is week 11 for Riley, Hope, Faith and Baby Grace. They are all doing good with just a few minor problems.

Today was shot day for them and they all got a steroid and benadryl before they got their shots to help them not have a reaction like they did the last time. So far they are doing good. Still having to give them benadryl but they are now playing and doing good.

Today's picture is a very special one. Since Riley is leaving next Monday this was his last visit to the vet unless there are problems. So I got a picture of the vet (Dr. Riley) and his tech (Jake) with all four puppies. I will never be able to thank him for all that he has done with Momma and these babies.

Will get pics of the puppies later this week. Working on getting a final group shot of them all but that takes extra hands to contain them so it will be a little bit before I get that.

What a heartwarming photo of a special doctor and the very special babies he helped to save. They are really beautiful. You are doing a great job with them, Tammie. Sara and the "miracles babies" are so lucky to have you. I don't think your life will ever be the same after giving them such love. I'm so glad you are Baby Grace's mommy. She is absolutely precious.

OMG I am so in love with little Hope. That beautiful fluffy little face just kills me. If we didn't have the darn quarantine laws here, I'd fly over and get her myself.

Hope they continue to ok after the shots, and we'll look forward to more pics.
Guess we have to get ready to console you after Riley leaves, huh. I know it's gonna be hard.

Today is a sad and happy day for us. The babies turned 12 weeks old and are all doing great. They have been such a fun blessing to have around and have provided hours of laughter, some tears and lots of love. They truly are a special bunch but then again what puppy is not. LOL

Today we took Riley to meet his new family. The drive to where we met them took just under 3 hours. It was cold and raining the whole way till we got to where we was meeting. Riley got a little nervous in the car but did really well. My mother and grand daughter came along with me which was a lot of fun. Of course leaving early on a day like today was not since I wished I could have stayed home in bed.

We arrived at our meeting place and I layered the trunk with potty pads so he could relieve him self if needed. Since he still has one more set of shots to go he could not get down on the ground. He played and ate in the trunk while I held a blanket up to keep him from getting cold. Worked out real good. Jane and Larry arrived shortly after we did and they were really excited to meet him. Riley took to Jane like he knew who she was. She got her first of many kisses from him. We stayed and chatted for awhile before it was time to go our separate ways and kiss Riley good bye. I felt a relief knowing that the family that Riley was going to was perfect for him and he will be well loved and spoiled. However, handing him over and saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I had to do. My heart just breaks right now but I know I did the best for him. He will always have a special place in my heart!!! I love you Riley and wish you the best life possible.

So...enough of that since I am crying again. I did get a few pictures and a really short video for you all to see.

Next Sunday on Mother's Day, Faith Ann will go to her new home and then I will just have Hope and Baby Grace left. Can't believe the end of the journey has begun.

Oh Tammie I can imagine how hard it must have been for you. You should be so proud of what you have accomplished. You helped turned what could have been a very unhappy story into a miracle. I'm sure Riley will have a wonderful life and never want for love.

Oh Tammie, bless your heart and Sara's too for helping these little pups along in the world.

Riley's new owners are very lucky to get this little tenderly pre-spoiled boy, and it sounds like he will be very loved in their home.

My heart is a little heavy now too, feeling how hard it is for you to send him off. It is sweet that Faith will join her mommy on Mother's Day and will be close to you.

Hi, sorry but yes it looks like Hope will be living with my parents. My dad really wanted Riley but I did not know that until after he left for his new home. Well when Faith Ann got sick and had to come back I have let both Faith Ann and Hope go to my parents house to try to get ready to leave again and last night my dad told me they were keeping Hope. So, she will be part of the family still and I will get to see her when I go to moms house. Of course I talk to them everyday so I will hear about her daily. So, the only one that is away is Riley but I still talk to his mom and hoping to get some pictures to post of him soon. As of today the only one here is Baby Grace but this is her home.

And Tammie, you won't feel like your heart is ripped out by sending all of them off to other homes.

They already know you are their offical Auntie for life!!!!!!!! Wouldn't have it any other way.

No, I don't have to cry about them any more. Still get teary eyed thinking about Riley but it is just because he is too far to just drop in and see. Besides he was the only boy and spoiled....well I mean loved.

Yes, you will see pics of them growing up...have to go over and get some new ones and a video of them too. They are getting so big!!! Almost 15 weeks old.
