I'm really sorry. This is the part of breeding that stinks. I hope she is carrying another one and she can carry it to term. I wish you both well. Keep us updated on how things go. |
I am so very sorry:cry: My prayers go out to you and gracie:lovewings |
So Sorry to hear this, I hope there is at least one survivng baby left! Good luck to you! |
Thank you all for your prayers. Gracie is doing pretty well so far. I got her to eat some boiled chicken, actually she attacked me for it but I only gave her a few pieces at a time. She peed and pooped finally and even got up and barked at a dog outside. I'll just need to keep an eye on her and see what happens. Hopefully we can get some sleep tonight |
She slept through the night!!!!! There has been no more discharge since tuesday night and no more labor signs. Now I'm focusing on Bella, she still hasn't eaten (on her own) since tuesday. I've been pushing nutrical on her. Her gums are still nice and pink and she did run outside this morning to go potty. I've tried the boiled chicken, she spits it out, tried yogurt, cheese, and anything I could find and she won't take it. I forced some puppy milk (Ihad on hand for gracie). I'm just concerned about her because she is usually up and going all the time. |
I know nothing about breeding-as my two are pet only-but I am sorry that you guys are going through this. How hard for you and for Gracie. Sending lots of prayers and healing thoughts your way!! Good luck! Hope she gets through all this ok. |
Can you feel any movement going on in her tummy? |
I can't feel movement but I can feel something in there. My head tells me they are gone but my heart is stuck in a fantasy bubble and praying that there is one in there (I like being in my bubble) |
I would advise an ultrasound now...An ultrasound will be able to determine whether she still has any viable puppies...Also if there is a puppy that is still ok then you would also want them check her progesterone level to make sure it is up high enough for her to make it to her due date...Sometimes their progesterone levels drop too early which will cause early placenta detachments...They can give progesterone shots to keep the levels high enough until her due date... I am sorry you are going through this it is very difficult and I have experienced this before also! |
we did an ultrasound yesterday and couldn't find anything. |
re: Gracie I've been following this thread and my heart goes out to you and to Gracie!! Your in our thoughts!!! Wishing you both the best!! |
Just checking to see how you and Gracie are doing. Any updates? |
Gracie seems to be doing good health wise. She just seems very depressed to me. You know when you look into your baby's eyes and you could read their expression and her eyes are just....I feel like she's looking at me asking what is going on mom, why? She stays very close to me, I don't leave her sight. I take her in the morning for a check up. It really still hasn't hit me yet. I guess it will on the 10th when we have the final ultrasound. |
Praying for Gracie...and You... Sending out Prayers for Gracie and her Babies!!! Let us know what happens @ her next ultrasound....You're in my Thoughts and Prayers Too!!! Blessings, Baron's Mom |
:( Im so sorry.. I will keep her and her puppies in my thoughts and prayers. |
