| I try to always post positive and have stayed out of this conversation so far. But that being said, I will say that I think your puppies are adorable. All puppies are adorable, but I am sad for them too. I HOPE they do beat the odds and grow up healthy. I just cannot agree with intentionally breeding a pair that has already birthed blue born puppies. Its like when it is the first time, shame on me.. the second time, shame on YOU! When you breed 2 healthy dogs with no known genetic defects, and you have a puppy with a defect. It is not your fault. But when you deliberately breed that pair again and have more puppies with defects. SHAME ON YOU. It is then YOUR fault. NO innocent puppy should have to go thru what these puppies may have to go thru. It is like playing russian roulette with thier lives.

| If you want the whole sad little story of how this came to be, check out the following thread. You'll know why color is just not so important to me. This thread is located at: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...10&goto=newpos

| No...like I said your post sounded intentional and was a shocker for some. Can't read every post and remember them all. I'm glad you did not breed her again intentionally knowing about the LS. I hope and pray for you and the babies that they are healthy. |

| I can relate to this post. the way you posted that, it really did sound intentional and that can really light some fire under some people. I can honestly say that I had never read that other thread so I for one was unaware of what all has happened. so to make a comment like what you did leaves people to assume. now, had you made that statement, then posted a link to the other thread...we could have known better. But the way it was left, it really sounded like you were "proud" of it. Now we know better...and I, personally, hope that everything turns out great for you...and I"m sorry you are having to go through such loss with not breeding them anymore. You are doing the right thing and should be commended for that.

i agree it is possible that AKC could come with a new classification but i don't think they will include dogs that are prone to genetic defects or health problems. Now that would be insane
