| Thanks so much for posting your tips! I actually went out a few weeks ago and bought a professional grade camera because the point-n-shoots couldn't come close to keeping up with Lucy. It has made a huge difference

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Awesome tips and I did the treat thing but never thought to put between my lips to have them look down to avoid the dreaded red/green eye. I'll be trying that next time I take pics.

| Great information...thanks! Ziggy and Beau Do Not like their picture taken. I have a Kodak easy share but would like to get another better camera. Can you recommend a good one for taking pics of my boys...not over $400 or $500? Also one that is not too hard to figure out how to operate it?

| We don't have to pay for this class do we??????? Those are great tips I will definitely try them with Topper especially the tip about the shutter speed. I can get him wehre I want him for a picture but by the time my digital actually snaps the picture he is gone. Tammy |

I recommend way before you get the dogs ready, set a lamp or a stuffed animal where you want your dogs to sit and get your camera ready with the settings so the dogs arent sitting there getting bored. Just like kids, you have to be fast, fast, fast with taking pics. they lose patience very quickly.

| You just need to downsize the pics a lot. Irfanview is a great program for that but any photo editing program will do it. They are too big for this site's uploading capabilities.

| We also give treats during picture time. When Chip hears the camera turn on he's ready to role!
