anyways i payed less than 750 for my puppy that is now 15 weeks. so charging that for a grown dog. i think something is weird and that maybe they are trying to get a new puppy. which maybe giving him away is in the best interest of you both since you and the dog didnt click and have that bond.


but i see both sides of the convo too. i hope everything goes well!

I used to breed Persian cats and gave a few kittens away free do to behavior issues. I did what was best for the kitten, putting them into a home with people willing to work with them...this is what was important to me, not the money.

I think what is bad is whoever gets this dog there also going to have to put out some money for training. I think if the price were lowered a little bit some compasionate person would adopt him. I paid less than they are asking for him for an akc puppy

it's for RE-HOMING & Rescue and you can get a feel of the prices if you read a few threads ...you may find someone who is looking specifically for a yorkie with issues needing a good home.

I agree. He-- Ceaser Milan__ has a very strong personality/ego, but the man does know how to turn them around.

I do rescue work. For a 5lbs male dog that 1.5years old and UTD on ALL shots, neutered, hw tested and on meds, bloodwork and fecal. The dog is sent with a bed, leash,harness and food/toys and an additional month of hw meds and has NO attitude problems the adoption fee is $600.
One that needs behavior modification is $400.

We would gladly take him and vet him and rehome if you would like.

I also forgot to add that MANY little one'slike this end up in 4 or 5 homes before we finally get them. :(

He does look very sad.

If op's biggest concern is a good home, a rescue is the way to go. They do an incredible job of screening people.

Ok, here we go, I will prepare for everyone to jump down my throat....
I know there are circumstances where one cannot keep their animal, but now a days I am constantly seeing people getting puppies and then not keeping them because they move, because they now have kids....yada yada.......
I think if you buy a puppy, you are making a life long commitment to that animal. You do not adopt a child and then decide there is just no room in your life for that child anymore. This is so wrong.
People need to follow through on their commitments and nobody takes this seriously anymore.
Again, I know there are some circumstances where a dog cannot be kept, but come on people, do what needs to be done and take care of your animals!
I would never give up one of my dogs, I truly cannot imagine any circumstance where that would occur, they are my children.
