Humm, I was really going to stay out of this one, I really was but....I see it both way, and sometimes when we are on these forums our words come across differently then if we were talking "face to face". Why, because the tone can take on a whole different meaning because we can't see facial expressions etc. I don't think anyone is trying to"blame" anyone, and I honestly think everyone on here truly cares about this breed, and just wants to see this dog in a good home and getting the attention/training it needs. I side with most on here however that I would hesitate in paying $750.00 for a dog that has an aggression issue. I am a dog trainer and I know there is another trainer on here (forgot screen name) and she might agree that true agression can be very hard to overcome, so if someone fronts 750.00 there is no guarantee that this dog will be able to overcome this issue (however, I believe he will be able to). Again, my only thing is the asking price. I would prefer it to have been worded...I am asking $750.00 because of XXX, however, for the right home I will consider taking less so please PM me to discuss if you are interested". If I were putting my dogs best interest at heart, I would be willing to work with the right person. On her behalf, I give kudos for coming on and being upfront about the agression in the first place. Its just sad, and I'm praying for it to all work out. Kathy |

Everyone else was posting their opinion on how it was the breeder's fault or the owner "shouldn't have gotten a dog she couldn't devote her time too." I was simply posting my opinion- THAT IS WHAT A BOARD IS ABOUT. For you to come at me for posting my opinion is pretty immature. I did not quote anyone's post, nor did I name anyone for their opinion- YOU DID. And I am not trying to get anything started. I posted my opinion and you and who ever else quoted me right away! Grow up and get over yourself- learn that your opinion is not the only that matters. |

Maybe you should stay out of it, since there is nothing you can do if you are not going to pay for him. You have no right to tell someone to "stay out of it". This is a message board. People are entitled to post their opinions. |

(and yes, when I sd. I personally would give my dog away, I meant to someone I knew. :)) |

Secondly, like you, I have every right to be on here as a member (just like you of course). Lastly, I don't see where anyone is personally attacking anyone other than you. I don't know your intentions but I kindly ask you to tone it down....... To bring this back to subject, hopefully Maximo has found his new and beloved home  |

Don't patronize me. "And why don't you just stay out of this if you seem to be too bothered by what us complainers post." Oh yeah! I agree you are NOT personally attacking anyone. "No one should have to pay that kind of money for him.......and no one will! If no one will...........where will he end up? All I care if for his welfare." Yeah I can see that- you've posted more on here about my opinion then the dog himself.... |

Has anyone every watched "the dog whisper" not sure i spelled that right, but i have seen him work with a very agressive dog that was resued by a woman that was going to be put to sleep that day. and he wouldnt let anyone touch him except her as long as she didnt do anything he didnt like.I watched this show and couldnt believe that he made a loving dog out of that dog,but he did. i mean this dog would try to bite that woman just for trying to cut his hair or any kind of grooming and after the dog whisper was done the dog just sat there and let them do what ever they needed to do it was so incredible. So i think there is hope for this little guy it will just take the right person to help him,not everyone can handle a dog like this one. Well i hope everything turn out good for the dog and the owner....good luck |
