Ready to try again Hi everyone. Well, even though I said I would NEVER get another puppy after losing Bandit, I've changed my mind. He's only been gone for two weeks, but I miss having a sweet little boy around the house. I know I can't replace Bandit, but I think I'm ready to try again. I'm scared, I want to know the background of the puppy so that I can know his health history. (not that that is any guarantee, but it's helpful). If anyone knows of a male puppy in NJ for under $1000 please let me know. I'd like him to be on the small side because I have MS and can't carry a heavy dog, but not too small...healthy is my most important quality. I don't even have to say "cute" because every Yorkie I've ever seen is gorgeous! Last edited by teri88; 05-26-2005 at 08:02 AM.

That's beautiful... I am in NYC and will keep and eye out for you!!! I have a questions regarding your MS and taking care of your Yorkie. Did you find it difficult? The reason I as kis that my dad has MS and will be home with the pup (when I get one) while I'm at work and I wasn't sure if it would be difficult for him to keep up with a pup?

The hardest part about taking care of him was going up and down the front porch steps. My kids or husband took him out most of the time for that reason. I was the one who got up with him in the middle of the night and I was alway afraid I would drop him going on the steps. Other than that, he was so tiny that it was easy to care for him. He was the best thing in the world for me because he would jump in my lap when I sat down and I'd just pet him and cuddle. He made me forget about myself and my problems and concentrate on him. I'd highly recommend one as company for your Dad. But be careful, he may not want to give him back at the end of the day!!!
