I was having to find them new homes to do some health issues and was not able to care for them anymore. My extended family decided to jump in and help me out with the pups, until things improved with my pregnancy. Unfortunately, due to circumstances, they are unable to care for them anymore. My health with my pregnancy has not improved much, as well as other family circumstances, we just can not care for them how they need to be cared for. My husband and I feel that the best thing for these puppies is for them to find forever loving homes, where they can get the love and attention they so deserve. I love these puppies with all my heart and have tried my hardest to be able to keep them, but just can't. It's breaking my heart to have to find them homes, but I know deep down, that it's the best thing for them. I am willing to work with the right loving home, as far as the price goes. I'm more concerned with them finding a forever loving home, then I am with the money. They will both come with all of their belongings, ie. crates, bowls, beds, chew toys, bows, etc. If anyone is interested, please let me know. This has been a difficult decision and I hope my pups will find loving homes! I will post pictures as soon as I can get them down sized. Melanie

| Pictures of my babies Here's some pictures of the puppies. They aren't that good of pictures, because my pups don't like to sit still for too long! Yogi, the male, is the first picture and Dixie, the female, is the second.

| Your babies are beautiful, I am sure you have no problem finding them homes just from the posters here. If we had not just recently got a new baby Yorkie girl, we would have definitly been interested in your little girl. Good luck with the new human baby also! |

| Thanks so much for the comment and the good luck! We could really use all the luck and good wishes we can get! We've had three deaths of immediate family members within a few months of each other, my mother-in-law is still in the hospital recovering from surgery and is still facing a long battle with aggressive lung cancer and we just found out that my husband's grandmother has lung cancer as well. It has been a hard year for everyone! I did want to mention that I didn't mention earlier that Yogi is not altered and neither is Dixie yet. I wanted to stress that Dixie should not be bred, for anyone that is looking for a female to breed. She is way too tiny. The vet doesn't think she will get much bigger than she is right now, which is only 3 1/2 pounds. I hope that didn't come off as too bossy or anything like that. I just want to make sure that Dixie is safe and am concerned for her, that's all. Thanks! Melanie

| If I were you I would have her spayed before she leaves your home. You can't trust people. They might tell you they won't breed her, then breed her to death. That's why I had Silk spayed when she had her section. I had already planned to sell her after the puppy was weaned but i didn't want someone to get her and put her thru that again at her age. |

| I agree with Sugar's Mom. Unfortunately, people who want to breed for tinies would jump at the chance, being small and AKC. To be safe, you should take your own measures. That way you'll weed out breeders immediately. They both are very cute! |

| Thank you! Sugar's mom~Thanks so much for the post. I read the other post this morning and I, too, am feeling grumpy, but it's a public forum and people have every right to speak their minds. I understand that my puppies are older and the price may seem high to some, because instead of Dixie being 3 or 4 months old, she's almost 8, but I have reasons for that. First, I still think of my babies as puppies. Sure they aren't the 3 or 4 months olds, which is the age they should be to come home from a breeder, but Dixie isn't that much older than that. Not that I feel that I have to explain my reasons to anyone, although, if someone is interested in having her and wants to know why the price is what it is, I would be more than happy to explain. I've put a lot of work and effort and care into both of my puppies. They are both almost housetrained as well as know a variety of commands. They have had the utmost care, as far as vet and health care. They are both also coming with all of their belongings, which include they're travel crates, a large wire crate for Yogi and an xpen for Dixie, their bowls, leashes, food, beds, toys, clothes and bows, just to name a few. Those are just a few of the many reasons why I set the price at what it is. I also stated in the bottom of my first post, that I would be willing to work with the "right home" as far as price goes. I understand this is a public forum and everyone has the right to speak their minds and ask what they wish. I hope that my partial explanation of why the price is what it is, will suffice. If anyone has any questions at all, regarding anything, even to do with the price, please feel free to pm me!!

| Prayers for you and your family. Both of your pups are so sweet looking. The price you have on them is very fair. If I lived closer I would take them both. I'm sure you won't have any problems finding them good homes.

| Thank you so much for the support, everyone!. I was a little surprised to see the post questioning that my prices are high. I thought they were fair, considering what I paid for the two of them and all that I have put into them. They are two very well behaved dogs, that have been well socialized with people and children. They don't chew on anything except what they are supposed to chew on and are just two very loving and sweet dogs. I should have been prepared for defending myself, that's all part of the public forum, and not let any of it get to me, but my emotions are running high right now, as giving my pups up is very difficult for me, but your support has helped. I did want to mention that if someone is looking for two sweet and loving yorkies and would be interested in taking both of them, I am willing to work and come down on the total price for both. They have been together a long time and really love each other. I am willing to separate them, but if someone is looking for two and has enough love for two little yorkies, I'm willing to work and come down on the total price. Thanks again! Melanie
