Congrats, I'm so glad that you found her a good home. Hopefully you will find the right home for Yogi as well.

| Melanie, I know we have chatted in emails and on the phone but I wanted to say again, I am so sorry for all you are going through, and I can only imagine this is a hard thing for you to do. Just know that Dixie will be so loved and pampered by my daughter and grand daughter and fur brother Austin. ( jack russel she has had for about 9 years if i calculated right). She has been wanting a yorkie since before I got mine, she adores my 2 babies, spoils them with clothes and goodies. my grand daughter is 10, she always wants to cuddle/ hold mine. So after I got my 2'nd , my peanut, I decided to start looking for a furbaby for her. one close enough I could pick up in person, and within my budget. Then I saw your thread, I feel sad for you going through everything in your life right now. I have cried reading your posts, feeling your pain, I've said prayers for you and your family and will continue daily. My daughter also had a rough pregnancy. I lost my dad 2 years ago and it still hurts. He is always in my heart as your loved ones will be in yours also. I really believe they watch over us, they are our angels. I didn't ask for a better price because I think thats a good price already, with all of her belongings besides the precious yorkie she has been wanting for so long. I did tell my daughter ( 111puppyluv111) I was inquiring about a 8 month old female, but I didnt tell her yet that it is a done deal and that everything has been worked out, and we are making the trip to pick her up on nov 18'th. I am going to let her find this post on her own lol I know this makes you sad having to rehome her..and there is nothing that I or anyone can say that will make you feel better right now, but just know she will be loved, spoiled, & pampered like a princess...not only by my daughter and grand daughter, but by me too. I am happy that I can do this for my daughter, but sad when I think of all you are going through. I know my daughter and I will be posting pics often, so you can watch her grow. I hope you find a loving forever home for Yogi soon too. He is a little sweatheart. (((((Melanie)))))) Talk to you soon, Elaine

| Hi Melanie, I randomly found this site in search of purchasing a yorkie sometime in a couple of months perhaps closer to summer. I know this is not what you are wanting to hear since you are looking for a good home for Yogi as soon as possible. Yogi sounds absolutely perfect and he's beautiful. He's exactly what I want BUT the timing is a little off because I am currently a student at VCU. I know you're probably a little confused because I am very interested but I cannot provide a home since I'm staying in upperclassmen dorms and there is a strict no pets policy. And since a baby's on the way you can't keep him but for so long and I could not ask you to save him for me. People who have yorkies usually know of GOOD breeders or places where I could be able to get a healthy, happy puppy so that's the purpose of this post. I was hoping maybe you were aware of any places around Richmond where I would be able to get a yorkie or any breeders planning on having a litter closer to summer? I know there's a lot of places where I could get a yorkie but it's the quality that I'm looking for perhaps maybe one that is a couple of months old? If you could get back to me that would be great. Thanks a lot and I wish you the best Sylvia |

| Sylvia, I am not aware of any breeders that are in or near Richmond. I got Yogi and Dixie both from two breeders that were near my husband's home town of Bristol, VA, which is about 6 hours from here. Thank you very much for the compliments on my puppies. Yes, unfortunately, I do need to find a home for Yogi as soon as possible. My children are having a hard time right now as it is with the fact that I'm giving the puppies up and I'd like to get the whole thing over with as fast as I possible can, for their sake. I do hope Yogi finds a good home. I know he will be quite lonely here when Dixie leaves. I did forget to mention to everyone that Yogi is trained to ring poochie bells. He rings them when he needs to go out. The bells will come with him, as well. Thanks Melanie

| ok, I was going to have admin remove my last post so my daughter doesnt see it , but, she will understand i am sure after she reads this ....... now yt'ers......I have been back and forth in emails this morning with melanie....separating these 2 well behaved beautiful pups is breaking her heart.....and stressing her out, isnt there anyone who can take both and keep them together? I am stepping down from getting dixie in hopes that someone will take them both. I feel that is best for Melanie and the pups. there was someone interested in both so they can stay together. I don't want to add to Melanie's stress. ![]() Melanie, I am not upset with you, please believe that..I know what stress can do to someone. been there.... I will find a furbaby for my daughter to love and spoil. (((melanie))) and chrissy I will keep looking ![]() Elaine
