he was bought as show hopeful with a CO-Owner and we have both decided to place him instead. I have to have surgery on the 31st and would love to find a home for him before surgery. He is a very happy boy so we call him Happy.

He is an import, FCI reg and can be Reg with AKC

Wow! He is very beautiful! I love his coloring! I'm sure you won't having a problem finding this little guy a forever home. :cool:

He does look very nice. But I will point out if you are saying Champion sired, grandsired etc, the registered name of the champion sire or grandsire should be on the ad. Good luck finding him a home.

No seriously I have too many boys myself we wanted to incorporate this pedigree into our program. He is just a little different in look than we expected. His gold is very red/gold and his ears are bigger than my preference he also has more muzzle than we had thought. Not huge but just not the look we had thought. His litter sister is more the look we had wanted, of course she is very little so that didn't work out either and I am sure he can and will pull some of the look we love but with having to keep head counts to a minimum and upcoming surgery we just thought maybe we would place him. :cool:

All I can say is that I personally don't know the person behind Prestigous Yorkies but rest assured she is a great person. Her does are breath taking specially Debonairs We Luv Squeakers. I really appreciate the fact that she considers begginers rather than giving them the cold shoulder. Some of the best kennels have dogs from her breedings. Sorry I just feel this person deserves to be commended. Even thought I don't know you I think you are great responsible breeder and kind person who takes a great direction with her program. By the way your Cavaliers are very nice also.:thumbup: :animal36

Since this little fella was a "show prospect" why didn't you dock his tail? And also, is he to be neutered? Or are you allowing him to be shown?

I am sorry I dont think you read the post he is an import please understand the part of docking tails is illegal in Europe it is banned. He was purchased as a Show Hopeful. Do you show?

I don't see why some are attacking Prestigous YT. You have no clue what the breeding program of this member is about. I can say she produces fine specimens of the breed and her dogs speek for themselves. To the person that stated that this could be a puppymill dog, First I doubt it would be champion sired and grandsired, second it wouldn't be in a show coat as such and buyers defenitely would not be screen for potential adoption. Anyhow anytime she has pups for adoption she is pretty firm on what kind of homes they go to and some will only be sold to homes where she can actually still have them near her to visit.:thumbup:

I did a "Google" search and his ancestors are breathtaking!! Congratulations and I would think someone would snap him up in a heartbeat providing they meet your criteria. ;)

I guess I missed something...why the attack? Deana is a very reputable breeder and has made a very nice line she can be proud of. Why should anyone be upset that she is finding this little man a home? If he is not what she expected then that is her choice and is the best for him as well.

I have yet to see an attack (come on Kim, you know how nasty things can get on here!) just people asking reasonable questions...who is in the ped, why isnt the tail docked, etc. dont seem unreasonable to me, nor does "why aren't you keeping him"...that is asked in just about every thread where someone places an older dog.. so not sure why anyone thinks there's attacking going on. Anywhoo, Hi Deana...pretty boy, good luck with his placement.

No, there were a few more posts on here last night that were just plain ugly. Those were deleted on page one.
