| Ok so your right about the yorkie in the picture. Why are so many people even members on YT importing dogs from places such as hungary? I have seen some beautiful english champions and haven't hungarian yorkies placed at crufts before? |

| Honestly? MOST Because they are not able to puchase open registration dogs with nice pedigrees in the united states. It is too "hard" to convince a reputible show breeder in the US to take a chance on someone who hasn't yet proven themselves. Now that's a whole other debate on weather people should just give others a chance or not.. however, I understand both sides, why some don't take chances...and why a lot of people elect to import. Now, the question is, what percentage of those imports have gone on to finish their American championships? As for crufts, well that's in ENGLAND..not the US.

| DazzlinYT, what do you think of the Brazilian puppies? They are advertised as having teddy bear faces, thick coats, cobby, square bodies and dark colors. The ones I have seen, I would love to have one. It seems like most of them are out of champion lines but if I had the money to send for one I would shop very carefully. Sylvia |

| Not to be rude to anyone or anything but I started this to find a female, breedable size yorkie in the picture I posted. So if you all want to argue about all this other stuff please start a different thread. I just want to find what I am looking for and not have to read al the arguments on here. THANKS |

But, I will contribute to the initial thread.........I think I may have stated this in another posting, so FORGIVE me if I overstate my response. The "burgandy" line seems to be the color you are looking for.....and if you can find a yorkie with a little of that in her pedigree, you will get a nice color and coat. But, the original Burgandy was smaller and short, cobby back, that may make for trouble breeding......so do be careful, even if you find a bitch with Burgandy in her background. The coat texture and color is to die for......IMHO. I am right there with you.....learning, and seeking the "right" look, a personal preference. | |

| Princess Yorkies, I don't think anyone was arguing, just healthy discussion. I replied to the question about the brazilian dogs privately to avoid adding to this thread in an off topic manner.
