| They will be bigger then you think. Look at the Mom and dad. Size affects price. |

| You can go to www.akc.org and register a litter online I believe. Are both parents AKC registered? |

| What you would need to do if go to http://www.akc.org/ they have a section to register the litter, you must have your certificate for your dam and if the sire is yours his certificate also, it will ask for there registration numbers and dates issued. You then have to pay about 25-30 dollars to register them and they will send you the puppy kit, (the application papers) If the sire is not yours, they will email the owner to confirm, but you still need at least his number to get him logged in. Good luck

I've had good luck in receiving the litter registration papers from AKC within a week of application placed online. Quote:
The growth chart should be used only as a simple guideline. My understanding is that it was compiled by yorkiepassion for her own line and works for her. It is a good guideling but does not necessarily work for everyone. Our first litter was a girl at 6.5oz, a boy at 5oz, and a girl at 6oz. Mother was 8 pounds, father 11 pounds. The first girl grew to 5.5 lb, the boy to 10 lb, and the second girl to 6.5 lb. None of which fits anywhere in the growth chart. The same 8 lb mother mated with a 5 lb male. Some of their offspring have grown to 6 lb, others to only 3.5 lb. I've been breeding a couple of years and based on my own growth chart from our yorkies, I can make a pretty good guess for adult weight, but not until they are around 8-10 weeks old, and I might add, it is still only a guess. As a first timer, two weeks old is way to soon to try and guess their adult weight because some may take growing spurts and other may not. Parents weight should be considered as well as their siblings adult weight. Our 11 pound tubby Tucker came from 4 and 4.5 lb parents. Our 8 lb mother came from 4 and 4.5 lb parents. Her siblings grew to 6 lb, 4.5 lb and 2.5 lb. Figure that one out!

| Hey, California is expensive all the way around. Even if these pups weren't registered I bet they would still all be sold for that price. I hope they can get registered although that won't make them any better of a PET. I see these so called "tea cups" selling for up to $5,000!!! It is crazy out here.

| I don't believe you can go by tose weight charts anyway. Kammie should have maxed out at about 5 pounds according to the chart. She is 5 and a half months and just over 5 pounds. I'm thinking she will be more like 7lbs. So that chart was off by atleast 2 lbs. It's not accurate. |

| Size is a factor of price and the buyer can be overcharged if the pup grows too big. |

| Please dont misundersgand what I was saying... all I was trying to point out was that to saw at this point they were going to be huge dogs is wrong. We dont know, and I agree this weight chart many not apply to all yorkies, I also pointed out that build is a factor in size as well. I have a 5.5 lb female with a shorter stockier body, and standing next to a longer taller dog of the same weight she is itty bitty and in fact looks closer to the 2.5 lb male than she does the 5 lb female.
