Default For sale 1 male 1 female

We are just getting started breeding and have two dogs that don't quite fit in our program so we need to place them in really, really good homes.

My name Anna Schaben
Orchard, NE
402-893-5105
danschaben@frontiernet.net

1 AKC male,
10 mo old, 4.75 lb
both parents are AKC but have been shown in APR shows and are APR champions.
He is the same size as our girls and we would like our male to be just a little smaller. (We are not planning to be really big breeders and only are going to keep on male.)
$1200 (willing to ship you pay shipping) or will trade for smaller AKC male

1 APR Female
10 mo old 5.5 lb
$1200 (willing to ship you pay for shipping)
We pruchased this beautiful girl with hopes to breed her when she lost her baby teeth she didn't get all of her permanant teeth, so we feel that she shouldn't be breed; however, would make a great companion.

Both dogs are house trained and are use to being with other dogs and kids.

You can click below to see a picture of each one. the male is the one with the fake dog and the female is the lighter colored one in the dog bed.

Hi, what cute babies. Are you wanting them to go to the same home? Or are you open to different homes?

I might be interested, but would like to get some more info and possibly visit the dogs. I'm not sure where Orchard is - any chance your an Omaha suburb? I'll be in Omaha in a month.

I would definitely have to wait at least that long to take one, as I'm leaving on a trip next week.

I have a male and a female - I adopted when they were over a yr old. (Actually 2 yrs ago March 7) they are 3 now and neutered/spayed. I used to breed Bichons, but not looking to breed at this present time. I do have 2 Siamese cats - also used to breed. Are your pups used to cats at all?

Hey thanks for responding. No they don't need to go to the same home (it would be nice, but I doubt that there are too many people who would be able to take both; however, if some one did want both we would work with them on the price). They are both really sweet babies and we hate to get rid of them, but when you are trying to start breeding you get the pups when the are little and some times don't know until they are about a year old to know they won't work in your program.

Yes we could wait until you get back. We don't live right by Omaha, but we sure could meet you there next month (the only thing we have going on is a dog show on the 29th and my daughters first communion on the 30th). just let me know what works for you and we can work something out. How far are you from Soiux City? We acctually live fairly close to there?

Let me know any questions that you have about either of them.

These are some that I have for you:
Do you work during the day? (if so what do the dogs do)
Do you have kids? (what ages)
Since you have two already I assume they get along with other dogs.

Sorry I kind of got distracted and hit summit before i was ready.

They haven't been around too many cats, but after a couple days I'm sure they would get along fine. We have had friends bring strange dogs over and have never had a problem with them. Both are pretty easy going and the Pete takes a lot to get him too riled up. Madie on occation barks but it usually is only when some one walks by with another dog or someone is at the door.

I'm home most of the time so feel free to call. If i'm not here leave a message and I'll get right back to you.

You both can meet at my house if you want. I live in council Bluffs. It might be better than in a parking lot somewhere. We live just a couple of miles off I80. It would be nice to meet you.

Hey thanks Jeanie. I'll get in touch with you when the time comes.

Okay I took some new pictures. lets see if I can get them to load. Pete is hard to get to sit still for pictures and Madie tends to get shy when the camera comes out.

These are of Pete. He has such a thick coat and right now looks fluffy. It was completely shaved of in October and this is how much it has grown since then. When it is longer it lays down better. We had to shave it bc when we first got him a neighbor girl came over and didn't understand what leave the dog alone means and she jumped on him and broke his right front leg. It is completely healed now and the only time he limps at all is on really cold mornings. An APR show judge looked at him for me and though he would show fine even though it was broken. He is such a little teddy bear. He does kennel at night but would much rather be in bed me.

Okay, these pictures are of Madie. She is so camera shy. But that's the only time she's shy. Madie is the go getter of our crew. She's also the prettiest. These pictures just can't do her justice. Her head is a nice blond color and eventually I think her back will be blue. She is still pretty young but in person you can see a lot of steel color coming through. She is just so beautiful it breaks my heart that i won't be able to get puppies out of her. She has a really pretty soft face.

Don't forget that you can click on the pic to get a bigger image

We think they are beautiful and they both have great personalities to boot. We wish they could stay. If anyone is maybe interested, we are willing to split the shipping costs.

Default reduce price

We had Madie listed on here earlier We are now lowering her price.

Size: 5.5 lb
Color: tan & steel (she is Just starting to change blue)
Age: 10 mo dob 5-10-05
Registared: APR
Shipping: Will ship and split the cost also willing to drive and meet you part way
Price: $800
Perfect pet
Gets along great with kids and other dogs

House broke

We originally got her to use for breeding (we spent ($2000); however, she never got all of her perminant incissors. She has her molars and eats fine, and eats hard dog food.

We also still have petie

He would be good for a pet or as a stud dog, he has produced, he gets along great with kids and dogs (he did have a broken leg when he was a pup, but it has healed fine)
he is house broke.

Both dogs have great temperments.

Does that mean she cannot be used for breeding? I am interested in buying her but I wanted to breed when my Max gets old enough

It means she is not a good candidate for breeding. She has a genetic defect (missing teeth).....you could not be certain her pups will have this problem or not.

Right. The vet said that it's not for sure genetic, but it could be. And if it is it's not certain if it is a dominant or recessive trait. So it's not for sure if the pups would have the missing teeth. We seen both of her parents and a full sister that was older and we checked all of their teeth, and none of them had any problems. And Madie had all of her baby teeth.

Your babies are beautiful. I know it will be hard to get rid of them.
