Oh no!!! They all look so sad. I don't know if I could check on mine while on vacation and see them so sad.

It's a good idea though for those who can do it.

Wonder what time of day it was... I saw them playing earlier. And one had his room torn to shreds, looked like a large breed puppy. I can see why mom and dad did not not leave pup at home or with a friend! With damage like that I would not ask a friend to sit my dog! lol

I bet they get sad when you go, its to be expected. But I would want to check on mine. Just to see that they had room and everything they needed. I take Pix with me when I go anywhere, but If I ever had to leave her, I would want to leave my baby somewhere that I could check on her.

But who ever really wants to leave them? Not I!

Are you going to have a new litter anytime soon or do u know of anyone who is? My Fiance and I are looking for a pupppy ready to go home middle to end of may...keep me posted!

I know she has two litters due soon! One in a week I think and one at the end of the month or in a month? Anyway... She has two comming!

We had 2 born this morning, but unfortunately.........neither made it and I blame myself. I just started working at Home Depot last week and this morning they had a store meeting from 6-8am. I didn't feel right not going in because I'm so new at the job. Sissy had her babies sometime after I fell asleep at 1am. When I got up at 5am, there they were. I had guessed that they were born not long before because they were still wet. I was getting ready for work and our electric went out from a bad storm. My husband got up to be with Sissy because I thought she might have one more. When I got home from work, they were still wet, not a good sign. I supplemented milk, heating pad, etc. but my efforts were in vane and the little girl left us at 11:30 and the boy at 7:30pm. Poor Sissy, she's going nuts trying to find them. Now I'm sure they were born much earlier and blame myself for not staying up with her all night like I normally would have done if I wasn't working. I called the emergency vet and told them that if they had a need for a nursing yorkie, Sissy was available. You never know! They were very surprised and pleased that someone actually offered. I hope they don't have to call because that would mean someone lost their mama dog.
Reggie is huge already, again. She's due towards the end of the month. This will be her last litter. She is such a good mommy. I wish she was ready to deliver now so I could give one to Sissy.

I do, somewhat. This is the first time I wasn't with them from birth. I know that even if I would have been there that there's a possibility the outcome would have been the same, but I doubt it.

I am so very sorry to hear Sissy lost her pups. Both you and she must be a wreck! I'm sure that you falling asleep had nothing to do with it! She is not a first timer. Sounds like she delivered the pups just fine. They may not have been ok even with you there to help out. And that would have been even harder on you. I'm just happy to hear that Sissy is ok! Thank heavens she did not have any problems. If I remember correctly, she is your Favorite.

It looks like Reggie is going to have enough Pups to share with Sissy. It is too bad they aren't closer together in whelping dates. My goodness! She looks like a watermelon! And she is not even ready to pop yet! Yikes! Thats one Preg Yorkie!

Anyway, Linda... Kiss Sissy For all of us here at YT and Don't be so hard on yourself! You can't be everywhere at once! Your an amazing woman, but even you can't acomplish that one, beleive me.... we've all tried.

Poor Sissy cried most of the night trying to find her pups. I'm worried about her. Physically, she's fine. She's skiddish to begin with and without a doubt, this is taking a toll on her....and me!

I called my vet this morning but they don't know of anyone with newborns. I'm going to check around with other vets in our area. I know my search will probably be in vane, but I will try. Besides that, who in their right mind would give a newborn to someone else to raise. Although, now, I believe I could.

Linda.... Check the Pounds and shelters as well... They get in all kinds. Lots of orphaned puppies, maybe some real young and real small? You never know.

I've been calling all the vets in our area to see if they have any clients that have yorkies. Many who are breeders dock the tails themselves so a vet wouldn't know about them anyway. I did get one possible but her pups were too old. She's has a connection that she's going to check with and get back to me. Actually, I am so desperate that I called a breeder in our area that has yorkies all the time but I don't care for her, their set up, kennels stacked in a building, lots of breeds. She did have a 5 day old litter, but I'm so leary about her, that would be my last resort.
