My concern is the fact that people actually place for sale puppies that are only 4 weeks old.. I do completely understand that you are just accepting deposits on them, but still do not believe in this.. Just because the puppies have made it to be 4 weeks old, that does not mean they will all live to be 12 weeks old! My thoughts are that a puppy should NOT be placed up for sale until it has been completely vet checked and found to be a healthy pup! You are also pricing pups that at this young of an age that you have NO idea what their quality will be at 12 weeks of age! If you take someones money for a pup at this time are you prepared to return their money in full if something happens to the pup or if the pup turns out to be poor quality (bite off, bad knees, hernias, etc.)? You also can not check their liver at 4 weeks of age either to rule out liver shunt..

I am not trying to be mean.. I just would like to understand why breeders place their pups for sale at such a young age and not really knowing what their quality will be like or that they do not have NO genetic defects..

I think you have beautiful yorkies and the puppies are georgous!!! I am sure you will not have a problem finding them a good home . I know of people who have put deposits down on a puppy before it was actually even born, so it is not unusual to see a breeder start looking for homes when the puppies are this young.

My comment was if she takes money for the deposit or money to pay for the pup in full at this young of an age "is she going to be able to refund the deposit in full if something happens to the pup or the pup falls apart (physical features or genetic problems)? I truly think that is a very valid question..

Ok I am going to go off topic a little bit here but why is it people can just not post something rather than doing this................. :zip: It is irritating and I can see why people take offense. What is the age ole saying........"If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all?" Shouldn't that be said for posting too? Sorry for venting I'm just getting tired of seeing it in a lot of threads.

ok, i just saw this again, and just to clarify i was not in any way trying to insult you. i'm very sorry that you felt insulted and thought i was being rude, by i was just concerned. i believe puppies shouldn't be for sale until there ready, that way you might be able to predict weight, color, personality and all that. once again, sorry. didn't mean to be rude. i was just asking!

i agree that we are here to HELP each other, go through our good and bad times. not verbally attack someone you don't know or how old they are, and for the fact im 13 1/2. so im gonna go to a post that is fun, friendly, and funny,
