| There is no way that going against the current conventional wisdom from the world over that a less-than-5 lb.-bitch should NOT be bred is breeding "for the love of the breed". No way. There is also no way breeding two dogs UNDER the Yorkshire Terrier standard minimum to one another is breeding "for the love of the breed". If you doubt me, Google terms like "breeding a 4 lb. Yorkshire Terrier female" or "breeding a tiny Yorkie female" and read vet after vet and breeder after breeder advising against this practice in no uncertain terms. Why in the world anyone would risk their little less-than-4 lb. female "for the love of the breed" is far beyond my comprehension. It's not like the breed is in danger or your tiny pups are improving it if they don't even meet the minimum breed standard weight. Usually breeding toy dogs under the breed standard minimum size/weight is actually for other reasons, such as the smaller the dog, the higher the price. I hope that small little female you are selling is spayed, no longer has to work for her existence with her life at risk to produce litters from that tiny body and can just be someone's beloved, treasured little princess one day very soon.

| It sure would be the loving thing to do for dogs that have worked for her(got that from Yorkiemom1 in a post long ago), and a little female that deserves a break from a lifetime of bearing/whelping pups from that little, underweight body.

Wow, I haven't been on YT for a while and I come back and see there are just as many "know it all piss poor breeders who think they have good breeding practices" on here trying to sell off problems, as there ever was. We all have ill parents, personal illness, relationship issues, or some sad drama that happens in our life sooner or later. That is life! And may things get better. But, your breeding practices are a result of knowing others with bad breeding practices that care more about SELLING a fancy puppy than insuring the health and quality of the Yorkshire Terrier breed. No excuses! The female was too little and the people that bought your puppies were clueless. Regardless of what she welped, poor baby. I see the cycle of bad breeders continues.
