| ![]() OP - I know that you're working on getting your little boy, and this post may be irrelevant at this point. But I did want to let you know that over the weekend, I went through a bit of a nightmare with the rescue I referred you to. I have adopted 3 of my dogs through them. I love them all dearly & I was very satisfied with all of my previous adoptions with them. However, my latest experience with that particular rescue organization has been bananas (to put it mildly). I would hate for you to have a bad experience as well. I just wanted to let you know that so that you can avoid any potential drama. Sorry about that. Good luck with your search & I hope it all works out!!! The pup you posted photos of is absolutely adorable!

| ![]() Hi Welcom to YT. I'm just seeing your post. I'm a Jersey girl. Live down the shore. Please don't even consider meeting someone outside of their home to see their pups. A good breeder will let you see the mom and dad and where they are living. Since you have small children, I would reccomend a bigger Yorkie. Size is hard to tell when they are pups. I know others have said it, but I will reiterate rescue. You can try Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder. Look even for a Yorkie Mix, the so called designer dogs. Yorkie Poo is great. I would personally got for one 12 pounds or bigger. They are great for kids to play with. Standard Yorkies 5-7 pounds are tiny for kids and can easily get hurt. Good Luck.
