| yeah, i did, but most of them want around $1000, which is out of my budget, or like 3-5 hours away. I want to go check it out myself before i buy it, and pick up myself too. |

| Yes, I did. But i couldn't find any around the area, most of them are out of state, I went to some pet shop before, but i didn't see any i like and the price kinda high. Does most of Yorkies are the same size? I've never had one before. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I live in the Chicago area and I saw a couple of adds in the SUnday tribune for yorkies in your price range. Check the Sunday paper as more people advertise in the Sunday edition. Good Luck

With that said, The yorkie standard is 4 - 7 lbs. Occasionally, you'll find them 2-3 lbs (also known as teacup...stay away from breeders that use that term...they're just after $) and sometimes they are over 7 lbs. I know if an 18 lb yorkie here in town...and yes, he is AKC registered.

| You can check the site www.buyingapuppy.com for good info and questions to ask a breeder. Pet stores are a no no. Yt has a search for any good info you have questions about too. Best of luck in your search and welcome to YT. |
