STAY AWAY FROM PET SHOPS AND BREEDERS THAT SELL TO PET SHOPS!
With that said,
The yorkie standard is 4 - 7 lbs. Occasionally, you'll find them 2-3 lbs (also known as teacup...stay away from breeders that use that term...they're just after $) and sometimes they are over 7 lbs. I know if an 18 lb yorkie here in town...and yes, he is AKC registered.
